The Young and the Restless RECAP Wednesday, June 6: Nick Gets A Surprise, Hilary Moves In

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, June 6, 2018 reveals that over at Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) place, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) informs Sharon that his father has hired Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as his lawyer so they got to find someone good.

Mariah Shocked by Victors Lawsuit

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) cannot believe a judge would take a kid from his father and give the grandfather full custody. Nick then fills her in on Christian’s paternity.

Phyllis Leaves Message for Nick

Over at their place, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) yells at Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) and tells her they are going to be late for Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) bond hearing. Phyllis thinks she needs to sit in jail for a while. Phyllis leaves a message for Nick Newman to call her.

Summer Tries to Explain Misunderstanding

In jail Summer Newman tells the guard that there has been a huge misunderstanding and that she didn’t steal the car she only borrowed it.

Neil Beats Jackin in Bidding War

Over at Hamilton-Winters Group, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) compliments Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) on his work. Downstairs in the dining room, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) takes a call from Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) who informs him that Neil got the penthouse.

Jack asks her to contact Farrah Dubose (Erika Girardi). Back upstairs, Farrah congratulates Neil on winning the bid. Later, Jack runs into Farrah and wants to know what happened with their deal and she tells him she ran into Neil who made a better offer.

Hilary Moves in With Devon

At Devon Hamilton’s place, Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) is moving her things in. Devon arrives and welcomes her home. They toast with orange juice about being roommates. Hilary points out he will have two new roommates. Across the way, Neil Winters spots the movers with boxes and Hilary takes them. Hilary hollers to Neil “Howdy neighbor.”

Neil enters Devon’s place and Hilary leaves. Devon tells Neil he didn’t tell him about Hilary moving in because he didn’t want to hear him lecturing him. Over at Neil’s place, Jack Abbott comes by to congratulate him. Then he adds he hopes Adam Newman’s ghost haunts him. Neil wants to know if Jack is okay and he admits he is having a difficult time moving forward.

Phyllis Aggravated with Summer

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers, Billy Abbott, and Summer Newman all arrive. Phyllis wants answers to what is going on and wants to know where Summer got the car. She says her ex-boyfriend gave it to her as a gift. Phyllis is aggravated and Billy suggests she ease up.

Now back at home, Phyllis Summers wants a proper explanation from her daughter. Phyllis calls Nick Newman to let him know Summer was arrested.

Back over at Sharon McAvoy’s place, Mariah Copeland fills Sharon in on seeing Summer Newman get arrested. Nick Newman hangs up the phone and says he is heading to Phyllis’s.

Phyllis and Summer Get Heated

Nick Newman and Sharon McAvoy both arrive at Phyllis Summers’. He hugs Summer and wants to know what is going on. Summer tells him about Pax, who wouldn’t let her go, so she threatened to go to his wife.

She then says Pax gave her the car to keep quiet but his wife must have reported it stolen. Phyllis rants about her being with a married man and Summer asks her how many married men she’s been with. Once Nick and Summer are alone she lets him know she thinks it’s a bad idea for him and Sharon to be together.

Later, Billy tells Summer to tone it down but she is not buying his maturity at all. A little later Billy tries to make Phyllis feel better by complimenting her. Summer appears and tells them to take it upstairs.

Hilary and Mariah Chat

At the Dive Bar, Hilary Curtis is upset and chats with Mariah Copeland about Neil Winters moving in next door.

Sharon Fears Victor

At Sharon McAvoy’s place, Nick Newman lets Sharon know he has hired Brittany Hodges to represent him. Sharon is afraid Victor Newman may try to use her past against them.
