The Young and the Restless RECAP Wednesday, June 27: J.T. Spotted In Genoa City, Jack Announces He’s A Chancellor

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, June 27, 2018, reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) chats with her daughter.

Jack Abbott Reveals Real Father

Ashley shows Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) an article that was put out disputing the claim that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is ill. Ashley is still wondering about the company and wants to talk to Victoria Newman (Ameila Heinle).

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) arrives and lets them know he is about to get closure on his paternity. He tells them he is going to have Phillip Chancellor’s body exhumed. They learn that Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) confirmed he is his father. Jack goes to see Dina.

Victoria Offers to To Help Ashley

Ashley Abbott goes to Victoria Newman’s office to seek further answers. Victoria assures her everything is okay and Ashley gets upset thinking she is being handled. Victoria invites her to jump ship but Ashley demands to know which clients are pulling out. She agrees to work with Ashley but insists J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) is not behind the threat.

Lily Makes Snide Remark About Hilary

Over at Hamilton-Winters Group, Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) informs Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that she has still not heard from Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander). Shauna steps out and Hilary and Devon take a moment to discuss what is going on with the teens. Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) and Charlie arrive.

Hilary goes to Lily wanting her help with Shauna and Charlie. Lily doesn’t want to get involved. Shauna comes back in and Charlie leaves. Lily then decides to help. Later, Lily, Charlie and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) go to the dining room and run into Hilary, Devon, and Shauna.

They decide to join them. Once they are all seated together, Lily makes a snide remark about Hilary bringing up her pregnancy too often. Devon jumps in to defend her. Hilary then points out she has no one except the people at the table. They all agree to make an effort.

Everyone Is Unhappy With Jack’s Decision

Close by, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Abby Newman chat and he hopes that she will come back to his place one day. Abby takes Arturo over to Lily’s table to introduce him to everyone. Jack Abbott arrives and gives Cane a look from across the room.

Cane tells everyone about Jack’s request. Devon thinks it’s outrageous. Jack comes up and Cane tries to get rid of him. They all bicker. Hilary suggests that there must be another way, but Jack insists his request is the only way. Cane and Jack bicker.

Ashley Abbott arrives and pulls Jack away. Cane and Devon leave to call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Charlie and Shauna disappear. Over by the bar, Ashley finds out Jack wants to use their mother as a witness and she is angry.

She tells him if he does then he is no better than Graham Bloodworth (Max Shipee). Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) informs her parents their plan worked and that Charlie and Shauna went to Crimson Lights. Cane then tells Lily he will protect Chancellor.

Over at Crimson Lights, Charlie Ashby informs Shauna Nelson the reason he ran out was because of what he hasn’t done and not because of what she had. They make it official and kiss.

Devon and Hilary Share Loving Moment

At the Dive Bar, Hilary Curtis informs Devon Hamilton that Shauna Nelson and Charlie Ashby are back together. She thanks him for having her back. He assures her they are in this together. Devon tells Hilary he loves her and she gets emotional. She tells him she loves him too and they kiss.

Back at the Abbott place, Abby Newman, and Arturo Rosales chat. Arturo understands Abby wants honesty. They kiss and part ways.

Ashley Warns J.T. Could Be Coming Back

At Newman Enterprises, Ashley Abbott informs Victoria Newman that someone matching J.T. Hellstrom’s description used a credit card to check in at a Genoa City motel.
