At Victoria’s place, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) updates Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) about Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) knowing about the abuse she endured from J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Victoria tells Phyllis about the camera Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had installed. Phyllis worries that Victor’s people could have installed a camera upstairs and that they all will be busted for what they have done. Victoria let’s Phyllis know that she spoke to her therapist about J.T.’s controlling ways and how it reminded her of her dad’s ways.
Over at the ranch, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives a little early for his and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) meeting. Nikki exists and Victor Newman wants to talk with his son. He breaks down into tears and let’s Nick know he heard everything he said to him in the hospital and it meant so much to him. Nick expresses his love for Victor and they seem to be burying the hatchet.
Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) approaches Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) and consoles him. Reed is upset that his father is gone and don’t feel like talking about it will help. He doesn’t understand how his dad could just leave and not speak to him. Reed feels Victoria gave Billy many of chances but only gave his dad one. Sharon points out J.T. Hellstrom had became violent and she can understand why Victoria didn’t want him around. Later, Sharon updates Nikki Newman on how Reed is feeling and thinks they should go to Paul William’s (Doug Davidson). Nikki demands her to let it go.
Back over at Jabot, Jack Abbott orders Kyle Abbott to work in the records room and puts Billy Abbott in charge of R&D. Kyle gets upsets and says that was his project. Billy comes up with a new idea to launch and Jack is intrigued, Kyle not so much. Jack tells Billy that he wouldn’t have appointed him COO if he didn’t think he could handle the job. Billy gets ahead of himself wanting to do so many new things with the company and Jack reminds him he is the boss. Then Billy takes a call from Reed who wants to meet with him. In the hall at Jabot, Kyle corners Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) wanting him to restore the momery card. Ravi agrees to look at it. Later, Phyllis Summers arrives and Kyle flirts with her and then ask if she has spoken to Summer lately.
Back over at Crimson Lights, Reed Hellstrom and Billy Abbott chat. Reed says he can’t live with his mom anymore. Billy tries to be there for him and knows Victoria means no harm. He tells Reed to focus on his life and he knows he has been through a lot.
At the Ranch, Nikki Newman comes back and is happy to hear that Victor Newman and Nick Newman called it truce. The conversation turns to J.T. Hellstrom and Nick wants him to pay for what he has done. Nick learns about the abuse and is furious he says if J.T. ever shows his face again he will kill him with his own bare hands and Nikki warns him not to go to his sisters. Arturo Roselas (Jason Canela) arrives and so does Jack Abbott. Nick invited Sharon McAvoy but didn’t hear from her and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is busy. The meeting completes and Nick and Jack leave. Victor watches Nikki with Arturo as she takes him to the side to talk business. Arturo suggest they talk over dinner later. They agree to meet at the usual spot without knowing Victor was listening.

Reed Hellstrom and Billy Abbott head to Victoria’s place to break the news of him wanting to leave Genoa City. He wants to go to boarding school in New Hampshire where they focus on music. Billy steps in and wants Victoria to let him go and reminds her she will be putting Reed’s needs first. Billy leaves. Victoria is very upset but knows he is going through a hard time without his father and eventually agrees to let him go. She breaks down in tears and makes him promise to video chat her every night.
Billy Abbott goes back to Jabot and meets Phyllis Summers in the elevator and they make out. Phyllis wants to know if Billy has missed sneaking around. He talks about waking up with her every morning and she tells him that was the correct answer and kisses him.
At Sharon McAvoy’s place, Nick Newman questions her about not coming to the meeting before letting her in on his parents telling him about J.T. Hellstrom abusing Victoria Newman. Nick wished Victoria would’ve came to him and feels it is critical to find J.T. Sharon looks worried.
