The Young and the Restless RECAP Tuesday, September 25: Jack’s Paternity Results Revealed – Sharon’s Party Kicks Off

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, September 25, 2018 reveals that over at the police station, Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) goes through the file on J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) that is on Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) desk, but he catches her. She is curious but Rey tells her she is too close to the situation. Sharon leaves for her bridal shower.

Jack’s DNA Test Results Revealed

At Newman Enterprises, Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) tells Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Matt Miller (Richard Gleason) that he will reveal the DNA once Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) arrives. Jack appears and Victor wants to destroy the envelope before opening it, but they continue on. Nate opens it and announces Victor and Jack is not a match.

On the patio at Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman let’s Victor Newman know she is proud of him. Later, Matt Miller meets up with Victor and they agree to stay in touch.

Sharon’s Party Kicks Off

At Sharon McAvoy’s place, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) prepares for the bridal shower. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) arrives and assures Mariah she is doing a good job. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives and they want him to hurry and get out. Sharon comes in.

Shortly after, Summer Newman (Hunter King) arrives. Followed by Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Abby and Victoria chat about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Nick reappears and shocks Sharon with a picture of their new home and says he can’t wait to move there after their married. Nick leaves and Nikki Newman arrives. They all make a toast. Summer texts Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) looking for a reason to ditch the party, but he responds not interested.

Across the room, Sharon updates Nikki and Victoria that she found a file on J.T. Hellstrom but got caught. Nikki worries that Rey Rosales baited her. They warn her about trusting Rey. Mariah hands out identifying sashes and they head out to the party bus. Sharon hangs back and looks at the photos of the new house.

Sharon Plans To Confess

Nikki returns and can tell she is upset. Sharon then tells Nikki that she can not go into this marriage with secrets and lies between them and needs to tell Nick about J.T.’s death.

At the Athletic Club, Nick Newman is happy that Jack Abbott is not related to his dad. Talk turns to the new house Nick bought and Jack thinks it was a bold move. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
