The Young and the Restless Recap Tuesday, September 18: Angry Victor Confronts Jack, Tessa Confesses

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, September 18, 2018 reveals that over at Jabot, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is on the phone as Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) arrives and he disconnects. He tells her it was about budgeting but she wonders if he was really talking about gambling. He then tells her about the gambling organization invite.

Kyle Shuts Summer Down

Elsewhere, Summer Newman (Hunter King) wants Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) thoughts on a report but he wants her to email it to him so he doesn’t have to be around her. Kyle calls her a drama queen and she says she is trying to fix their friendship before leaving.

Phyllis runs into Summer in the elevator and they talk business. Summer tells Phyllis Kyle hates her like everyone else. Phyllis insists no one hates her and wants them to go talk.

Tessa Confesses

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) goes up behind Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and hugs her which catches her off guard. She realizes Tessa is in pain and wants to know what is going on so Tessa comes clean. Mariah offers her money, but Tessa just wants a better job.

Over at the police station, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) questions Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the last time he saw J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Victor says it was when he had just came out of his coma. Rey says he wants J.T. to pay.

Kyle Abbott goes to Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) food truck and apologizes for acting like an entitled snob. She appreciates it and asks him to move for the next person in line.

Rey Rosales appears and let’s her know how proud of her he is. Then he brings up legalities. She complains he treats her like a child and that is why she moved in with Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). Rey wants to know if she is dating anyone and she tells him to back off.

Jack Fills Nick Newman In On His Dad Search

Over at Dark Horse, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wonders what is bugging Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Jack opens up about looking for his dad and is considering dropping the search. Afterward, Victor Newman appears and Nick tells him he is doing damage control then questions if Victor was behind him being arrested. Victor denies it. Victor then fills him in on his interview with Rey Rosales. Nick tells him about Albert Miller’s name coming up with Jack.

Later, Mariah Copeland arrives and asks Nick to hire Tessa Porter. Nick wants to know if she can start tonight. Mariah thanks him. Tessa comes later and Nick puts her to deleting files from servers. She tells him he is saving her life. Later she hears a noise but it’s just Mariah.

Over at the Athletic Club, Jack Abbott tells Billy Abbott he doesn’t look good. Billy admits he is debating an opportunity. Jack wonders if it is impulsive but advises him to go for it. Jack opens up about his paternity search.

At the Dive Bar, Summer Newman opens up about Kyle Abbott to Phyllis Summers. Phyllis suggests she give it time. Talk turns to their relationship. Summer points out that she loves Phyllis but doesn’t know if their relationship will ever be the same. Phyllis agrees, but thinks their talk is a step forward.

Billy Makes His Move

Back at Jabot, Billy Abbott gets Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) to do a large confidential wire transfer. He claims it is to pay off a business loan. Shortly after she lets him know it went through.

Victor Confronts Jack

At the Abbott mansion, Victor Newman arrives and confronts Jack Abbott about prying into his family business. They debate about the photo. Jack thinks Victor is there because he is having trouble believing it himself. Victor accuses him of coming after Newman Enterprises.

Jack was going to drop it but now thinks he is on the right path. Victor exclaims that Albert Miller is burning in hell and warns Jack not to come any closer to his legacy. Jack then replies for him to try to stop him.

Back over at Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott buys Lola Rosales an espresso. She wonders if he is going to ask her out, so he does. She tells him she will think about where she wants to go. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
