The Young and the Restless Recap Tuesday, October 9: Victoria Panics – Summer Gets Jealous

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 reveals that over at the Athletic Club, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) chat about Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) wedding debacle. Then they talk about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). Summer thinks Billy needs someone to make him happy but not her mother.

Victoria Panics Over Mystery Note

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is on edge after receiving the cryptic letter. Nikki Newman arrives and can tell something is bothering her. Victoria decides to show Nikki the note. They debate on who could’ve have sent it. Later, Nikki returns and shows Victoria she just received a note identical to hers. They know now it’s about J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Victoria says her nightmares have came back.

At Jabot, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) arrives to find Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). They talk about having dinner and kiss.

Lola And Kyle Plan Another Date

At Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) gives Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) a bag of power tools that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) had left there for her. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) appears. Kyle updates Lola on the change at Jabot. Then talk about their date and Lola suggests they see a movie. They agree to meet back up there. Tessa fills Lola in on Summer Newman being Kyle’s ex.

Ashley Calls A Jabot Meeting

Back over at Jabot, Ashley Abbott calls a staff meeting. Phyllis Summers is a no show. Ashley makes a speech about John Abbott’s vision for the company. She says she is returning focus on R&D and taking funding from Jaboutiques. Kyle Abbott says he has done a comprehensive review on the boutiques.

Ashley reads it and is impressed. She thanks Kyle for the tamales, Lola Rosales sent them on his behalf. She decides to keep Jaboutiques. She and Kyle bicker when she brings up he was not supporting her, but his father. Kyle complains about doing all her dirty work while she kept her hands clean. Kyle can’t wait for the world to see her true colors.

Ashley Gets A Shocking Offer

Back over at the Athletic Club, Ashley Abbott is celebrating with Neil Winters when Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) “her consultant” interrupt them. They step away and Andrew wants to cut a deal in light of her success. He suggests she double his salary. She says she is cutting it out altogether. Andrew supposes secrecy is no longer required. Ashley panics.

Summer Catches Kyle And Summer

Lola Rosales and Kyle Abbott are out on the patio at Crimson Lights. Lola mentions him dating Summer Newman. They pinkie swear to be mature if Summer freaks out.
