The Young and the Restless Recap Tuesday, October 23: Traci Discovers Ashley’s Contract, Thanks To Dina

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, October 23, 2018 reveals that over at the Ashby’s place, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) is on the phone checking up on the kids. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) wait for him and Neil ends up grabbing his phone away. Cane realizes that Neil has talked to Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell). Cane admits him feels beaten down and they let him know they are there to support him.

Prison Is Taking A Toll On Lily

Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) is enjoying herself at the club when she gets a text from Cane Ashby saying he is on his way. Then she snaps back to reality and realizes she is still locked up. She takes some glitter off the cards the kids sent to use as eyelash. Then she goes to the visiting room and Devon Hamilton and Cane are there. They notice the glitter and she tells them how it makes her feel human again. Devon gives Lily and Cane some time alone.

Over at Crimson Lights, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) runs into her mother. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) leaves immediately.

Jack Discovers Dina’s Secret Contract

At Jabot, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) tries to stop Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as he is shredding the documents. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) walks in and demands to know what is going on. Kyle hands the documents to him.

Dina says she is afraid Ashley will be left behind while her siblings rise. Jack takes Kyle aside and explains the contract. Dina wants the contract locked back up. Meanwhile, Abby Newman chases her mom and wants to talk. Before they leave they hear the shredding but go anyways.

Dina Fills Traci In

At the Abbott mansion, Dina Mergeron goes to bed. Kyle Abbott and Jack Abbott chat about the document. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) comes in looking for Dina. Jack leaves for a meeting with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Then after Kyle leaves Dina comes downstairs and tells Traci “that boy” is a liar. Dina explains to Traci about the documents. Abby Newman and Ashley Abbott go to the Athletic Club for a drink. Abby tries to see things from her mom’s perspective. Ashley explains she wasn’t out for revenge. She then talks about how her mom resented her and doesn’t want Abby doing the same. Abby spots Jack Abbott at the bar and wants her mom to talk to him. Ashley goes and approaches Jack. Jack wants them to try and let go of the resentment. Jack suggests they both stop working at Jabot awhile.

Traci Takes Document From Shredder And Puts Back Together
