The Young and the Restless RECAP Tuesday, July 3: Nate Hastings Arrives, Digging Up J.T. Is A Failure

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, July 3, 2018 reveals that over at Chancellor Park, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case), and Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) are all shocked to find the flower garden with a huge statue in it.

Phyllis Thinks Digging Up J.T.’s Grave is Too Hard

Phyllis points out the only way they are going to be digging up J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) grave is with a jack hammer and a stick of dynamite. Sharon and Nikki wonder who put it there and Victoria finds a plaque. They all realize Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had it put there. Phyllis looks thoughtful.

Nick Tells Victor To Keep Christian Safe

Over at the Athletic Club, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) chats with his son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the latest developments with J.T. Hellstrom. Nick points out that he better keep Christian safe since he is being targeted.

Neil and Nate Hug

Up at Hamilton-Winters, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) let’s Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) know he is going to the airport to pick up someone. He is fixing to leave when Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) walks up. He and Neil hug.

Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and Tessa watch as Neil and Nate leave. Tessa thinks he is a hottie. Later, Nikki Newman joins Victor Newman and the social worker. She chats with them about their health.

Social Worker Questions Victor’s Health

Nikki reassures her she has her MS under control. Victor tells her he is doing everything he can to give Christian the kind of life his son Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) would want for him. Nick comes up and asks Victor if he is feeling better after his spell on GC Buzz. The social worker lets Victor know she heard about his health issues but he dismisses it.

Victor Demands Nate Signs Non-Disclosure

At the penthouse, Neil Winters lets Nate Hastings know that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) owns the building and that his nosey ex-wife lives across the hall. Later Hilary goes across the hall and Nate answers the door shirtless.

He tells her Neil is on a call. Hilary then starts to tell him about the show she hosts but he is dismissive. Hilary goes back home and is irked by his disrespect. She storms back across the hall to confront him. They bicker back and forth and Neil appears.

Neil introduces his godson. Neil shows her out after she gets nosey. The door bell rings and it’s Victor Newman who is Nate’s new patient.Victor wants Nate to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Nate says he hasn’t agreed to treat him yet.

Nate says Victor will have to be forthcoming and pay him a lot. Victor’s impressed. Neil likes the way Nate dealt with Victor. He offers him a place to stay and he takes him up on it. Across the hall, Hilary looks into Nate’s history.

Sharon and Phyllis Make an Alliance

Over at Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers tells Sharon McAvoy if J.T. Hellstrom is alive then they are in the clear. They bicker on whether or not to make an alliance.

Sharon points out Phyllis trusting her would be a first. Sharon then adds they all started this together and they are going to finish this together. Later Nick Newman chats with Sharon and lets her know that he brought up Victor Newman’s health problems in front of the social worker.

Victor Vows To Hunt J.T. Down

Back at the park, Victor Newman tells Nikki Newman that he had a meeting with Dr. Hastings. Talk turns to find J.T. Hellstrom and Victor says he is not asking Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) for help.

Nikki blames Paul and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) for turning J.T. into a monster. Victor tells her to leave it up to him to protect the family. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs.
