The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, September 6: Dina Getting Worst, Jack Decides To Move In

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, September 6, 2018 reveals that over at Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) place, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives home to find her in lingerie and they make love.

At the Abbott mansion, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is upset that Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) lost her mother and they bicker back and forth. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is excited that Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) is home and leaves. Phyllis and Ashley continue arguing and Phyllis reminds her that it is Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) estate. Ashley says Billy became CEO by default.

At Jabot, Summer Newman (Hunter King) confronts Billy Abbott about him trying to avoid her. He tries to get rid of her, but she will not leave. Billy then goes off about her getting a ticket and trying to come to Philadelphia and tells her nothing would have happened. Summer insists he wants her. They bicker and Billy gets a text about a poker game. After, Phyllis Summers shows up and Billy fills her in on things with Summer.

At the Athletic Club dining room, Kyle Abbott fills Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in on Phyllis Summers losing Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Jack doesn’t blame her and let’s Kyle know that no one has been more devoted to her than him. Talk turns to Jabot and Jack tells Kyle to not get caught in the middle of Ashley Abbott and Billy Abbott’s mess.

Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon McAvoy tells Nick Newman that her final grades are in and she can graduate. Nick wants to celebrate in their new home, but Sharon tells him she has not looked at any houses. He is set on them moving. Nick meets with Abby Newman and let’s her know that Arturo Rosales crushed it. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) appears and is shocked that Abby and Nick know each other.

The men talk sports and plan to attend a soccer match as Sharon walks up. Abby wonders how Sharon knows Rey and she explains. Nick learns he is Arturo’s brother then he and Sharon leave to view houses. Abby throws up how Arturo leaves a room when Rey walks in and has learned he didn’t return and blames that on Rey.

Jack Abbott goes to the Abbott mansion and joins Ashley Abbott. Dina Mergeron is panicking about her dog. Jack comforts her. Ashley points out that their mother responds well to him. Jack decides he should move back in even though Phyllis Summers is living there with his brother. Dina comes back with a photo album but doesn’t remember Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) name.

At the park, Sinead let’s Billy Abbott know it’s too late to get into the game, but he is persistent and pays her to get him in.

Back at Jabot, Billy Abbott arrives and Phyllis Summers suggests a happy hour. Billy receives a text he’s in a poker game in Vegas tomorrow. He lies to Phyllis about having to work in Arizona and she wants to go with him. He talks her out of it. After Billy makes arrangements he confesses that he lied to her. He comes clean about the poker tournament. Billy explains his need for wanting to be in the tournament and asks if she’ll go with him.

At the Dive Bar, Sinead updates Kyle Abbott on her progress with Billy Abbott. Kyle wants her to keep him coming back and shelling out money. He tells her no one can know about their arrangement. Summer Newman arrives and tells Kyle that he won the bet and she is ready to pay up. Kyle is not up for a quickie and wants to savor his victory. Summer says they will make a night of it.

Back At Sharon McAvoy’s place, Nick Newman is excited about a nine-bedroom house they saw, but Sharon not so much. He brings up her willing to move to San Diego with him and wants to know what changed. She tells him that he has. Sharon tells him she doesn’t want to give up their home and Nick appreciates her honesty. She fills him in on Rey Rosales looking into J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) credit card debt some of which he ran up.
