The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, September 20: Victor Busts Jack With Matt Miller, Rey Surprises Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, September 20, 2018 reveals that over at the Athletic Club in the dining room, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) discuss restructuring debt in their real estate division.

Victoria is not feeling well. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) appears and checks on Victor. Across the room, Nate joins Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and tells him he is glad he went and seen his sister.

Jack Searches For DNA

At Dark Horse, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) asks Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) for a sample of her DNA. Abby doesn’t want to be in the middle and declines.

Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) answers the door at the penthouse and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) is there with her a birthday present. Nate Hastings walks up and realizes it’s Shauna’s birthday. The teens leave.

Rey Surprises Sharon

At Crimson Lights, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) congratulates Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) on her graduation. He then offers her a job at the GCPD in which she turns down.

Later, Sharon takes a cupcake out to Shauna on the patio where she and Charlie are. Back inside, Rey tries to talk Sharon into taking the job and she says she will have to talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Back at the Athletic Club, Jack Abbott arrives just as Victor Newman and Victoria Newman are leaving. He goes over to their table and tries to get something with Victor’s DNA on it, but Devon Hamilton catches him.

Victor Busts Jack With Matt Miller

Later, Jack Abbott meets with Matt Miller (Richard Gleason). Jack explains to Matt about his paternity and wants DNA from him. Victor Newman walks up and is unhappy about the two of them meeting and warns Matt not to help Jack.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman tries to work but her hands are shaking and she is stressed.

At the penthouse, Nate Hastings tells Devon Hamilton about it being Shauna Nelson’s birthday and Devon comes up with a plan. Nate gets a text from Victoria Newman who wants his help.

Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) arrives at Crimson Lights and takes Shauna Nelson for a spa day and tells Charlie Ashby Devon Hamilton wants him to call him.

At Newman Enterprises, Nate Hastings tries to figure out what is causing all of Victoria Newman’s stress. He wants to help her take control back over her life. He plans to teach her some self defense moves and gives her a karate uniform. They begin with some relaxation moves then high kicks. Victoria gets a text from Sharon McAvoy and has to leave.

Devon Plans Shauna’s Surprise Party

Shauna Nelson and Mattie Ashby arrive back at the penthouse. Shauna opens the door to a surprise party. Devon Hamilton reads a list Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) made of reasons Shauna should move in. Nate Hastings arrives and she thanks him. After everyone is gone Shauna and Devon chat and he gives her the present from him which is a scholarship that covers any 4 year University program.

Back at Crimson out on the patio, Victoria Newman urges Sharon McAvoy to take the job so they can stay one step ahead of Rey Rosales. Sharon joins Rey and tells him she will accept his offer. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your latest soap needs!
