The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, October 11: Cane Visits Lily – Ashley Tries To Pay Off Andrew

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, October 11, 2018, reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to go easy on Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), but Kyle says she is a schemer and is up to something with Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Ashley enters the room and the guys pretend they were talking about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams).

Victoria And Nikki Brainstorm Potential Stalkers

At the Athletic Club, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) debate over who could have sent the cryptic notes.

Over at Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) chat. Sharon asks Tessa to cover when Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) comes. Phyllis and Sharon go out on the patio and Sharon shows her she got a note too. They bicker before speculating who could have sent them.

Cover-up Crew Compares Notes

Sharon thinks someone is trying to scare them. They summon Victoria Newman and Nikki Newman. They all realize they have received identical notes. Nikki thinks someone is onto them. Phyllis throws up Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Sharon wonders if it could be Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). They bounce back to Rey being the culprit.

Cane Visits Lily

At Walworth, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) pays Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) a visit. He tells her the kids would have liked to came but they are at school. Cane tells Lily that baby Sam is walking now and that Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) has still been an activist. Lily is worried about another inmate and Cane worries she is being taken advantage of. Lily gets upset and Cane doesn’t want to part ways with her like that.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott tells Ashley Abbott he will do his job. Ashley gives him the benefit of the doubt. They talk marketing for Jaboutiques. Later, Kyle snoops around the office. She comes in and Kyle makes up a story about leaving her a note.

Jack And Kyle Discuss Andrew

Jack Abbott and Kyle Abbott meet up at the Club. Kyle reveals he accessed some files at Jabot and found out the mysterious monthly payments were going to a shell company in Andrew’s name at a P.O. box. They debate on whether he was actually doing consulting work. Jack wants Kyle to let him deal with it. Later, Cane Ashby runs into Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) at the bar. He confides in Esther that Lily Ashby is not doing to good.

Jack Abbott arrives at Jabot and questions Ashley Abbott about Type A Consulting. She dodges the subject until Kyle Abbott enters and brings up it is a shell company. Ashley warns Kyle, but he demands to know why Ashley’s paying Andrew off with company funds.

Ashley claims it was to clean up Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) messes. Kyle then brings up being approached by Andrew. Jack asks if she is being blackmailed. Ashley doesn’t want to answer them and tries to turn the tables on Kyle. She demands they leave. After, Kyle insists Ashley is shady.

Ashley Tries To Pay Off Andrew

Ashley Abbott meets up with Andrew in a car and tells him it will be the last time he threatens her. She says she has recorded all their meetings. She offers a last generous payment before parting ways. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
