The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, May 3: Billy Calls Out Kyle For Meeting With An Enemy

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday. May 3, 2018, reveals that over at Crimson Lights, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) chats with Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) about the situation concerning J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).

Neil Runs Into Charlie

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) calls and tells Sharon they have a big crisis to deal with. Then Neil has a run in with his grandson Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) who is working on editing Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) documentary. They chat about Alzheimer’s and the effects it has. Charlie is concerned for Neil who assures him what the mind can’t remember, the heart never forgets. Charlie hugs Neil.

Nikki Calls An Emergency Meeting

Over at the Athletic Club, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) talks with Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) about her trip to the station. She updates him on the new evidence surrounding J.T.’s cell phone. Then Phyllis gets a call from Nikki who wants her to come to the ranch as well and tells her it’s an emergency to get Sharon and come on.

Victoria Wants To Confess

At the Newman Ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) tells her mother her mind is made up and she can’t stop her. Soon Sharon and Phyllis arrive. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) walks up and wonders why they are all there. Phyllis covers by explaining they are working on a charity event. Victor leaves. Victoria then informs everyone that she is planning on confessing to killing J.T. She says that she will say Nikki drove all them home after she ran into J.T. upstairs and hit him with a fire poker after he admitted to trying to kill her father and attacked her. She then adds that she will say she was the one that rolled him into the rug, put him into the car, and buried him at Chancellor Park. Phyllis warns her that there is holes in her story and the police will figure out they were all in on it and would get time. Victoria wants to take her chances, but Nikki refuses to let her. Nikki reminds her that she is the one that killed J.T. Sharon even agrees that they should stick together and stay with their story. Then talks about overcoming abuse. Victoria thanks Sharon for the support.

Billy Calls Out Kyle

Victor Newman arrives at the club for his meeting with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who is eager to get down to business. Kyle compliments Victor on his quick recovery and then talk turns to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Kyle let’s Victor know that Jack and Billy are blocking him from important information. Kyle complains about Billy becoming COO and that he had been waiting for it for years. Victor points out that he sounds like his father, bitter and vindictive. Billy walks up and calls Kyle out for a meeting with the enemy. He tells Kyle if he was his son he wouldn’t trust him either. After, Kyle lets Victor in on the fact that he’s found a weapon powerful enough to take down his dad. Victor wants to know what it is and asks him does he have what it takes to play with the grown-ups.

Sharon and Phyliss Worried About Victoria

Back over at Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers is surprised by Sharon’s speech and compliments her on it. Sharon says their only choice is to trust each other. They are worried what Victoria Newman might do, so they call and check up on her. They find out she is working from home so Phyllis goes to find her.

Phyllis and Victoria Plan To Leave Town

Over at Victoria’s place, She is writing a note apologizing to her parents for turning herself in and as she is about to leave Phyllis arrives. Phyllis tries to talk some sense into her and reminds her if she does turn herself in she will be watching Johnny and Katie grow up from a visitors room. Then Nikki arrives and tries to talk to Victoria. Nikki suggests that Victoria go away and Phyllis offers to go with her. She says she will go undercover supposedly at a convention.

Phyllis Assures Nikki She Will Take Care of Victoria

Over at Jabot, Phyllis Summers informs Billy Abbott that Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) wants her to go to a convention tonight. He offers to intervene but Phyllis stops him. She brings up that Victoria is going along to represent Newman so she will not be alone. Then at Victoria’s place, Phyllis rejoins Nikki, Sharon, and Victoria. They go to leave and Phyllis lets Nikki know she will take good care of her daughter. Nikki reminds her she’d better or she will answer to her.
