The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, May 10: Ashley Shocked, Ravi Comes Clean

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, May 10, 2018 reveals that over at the Abbott’s, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) chat about the way Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) went off on Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Jack sneers when they reveal they used hair from both his and Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) brush. Jack goes on to blame Abby and Ashley of executing the perfect revenge. Abby let’s him know that he is way off base and Ashley tries to stop him. Jack says she probably got Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) to edit the footage and then he storms out. Ashley says Jack is lashing out and they try to figure out who is behind changing the video.

Over at Hamilton-Winters Group, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) talk about casting calls for models. Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) comes in with a box of baby gifts and one of the male models flirts with her but Lily let’s him know that she is taken. He apologizes to her. Hilary wants to know why Lily threw in the taken to him and suggest that Lily is excited to become an aunt. Lily says it will be nice for Sam to have a cousin near his age but she will not be giving Hilary a shower. Over at the bar of the Athletic Club, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) talk about how things went south at the screening. Neil thinks Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) did a great job. Devon wonders who sabotaged the video and Neil’s guess is Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Devon tells Neil he is meeting Simone (Shanica Knowles) and that he took his advice about making a commitment to parenting.

Devon Hamilton and Simone meet in the dining part of the Athletic Club where Simone tells Devon a huge label approached her, but the perks at HWG is better. Devon let’s Simone know about his change of heart and that he is going to honor his agreement with Hilary Curtis. Simone still wants the relationship. Back over at Hamilton Winters, Lily Ashby tells Abby Newman about trying to cast a couple with chemistry. Abby assures her no one is blaming Charlie and he done a fantastic job. Lily wants to know if the paternity news is true and Abby reveals it is. Lily, Abby, and Tessa conduct the casting session. Abby demonstrates chemistry with Devon as Hilary arrives. Hilary makes a comment about Devon having lunch with Simone and now flirting with Abby. Devon reveals Simone is no longer with their label and says they mutually decided to part ways. Devon let’s Hilary know he didn’t do it so they could get back together.

Back over at the bar, Neil Winters spots Jack Abbott who is drinking. Jack feels in his gut that he is John Abbott’s son and talks about his bond with him. Neil learns that Ashley Abbott and Abby Newman knew and ran a DNA test. Neil informs Jack that the alcohol is not going to help and urges him to get a proper test done. Neil wants Jack to stop looking for answers at the bottom of a bottle. Jack decides that is what he will do.

Ravi Shapur and Ashley Abbott meet over at Crimson Lights. Ravi thanks her for meeting him there. He knows what happened at the screening and wants to let her know what part he took in it. Ravi tells Ashley that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) had him to restore the damage memory card and she wonders why he would do it.
