The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, June 21: Newman Stalker Clues Point To J.T. Hellstrom

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, June 21, 2018, reveals that over at Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) find confidential contracts in memos in the boxes.

Ashley wants to address the breach in the security system. Victoria thinks it’s an inside job and wonders if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could have anything to do with it.

Cane Doesn’t Trust Jack

At the Dive Bar, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) wonders if Jack Abbott is trying to get his hooks into Chancellor Enterprises, but Jack insists that is not the case. Cane will not allow it to go any further. Jack gets a call from his sister, who is concerned he’s involved in the situation at Newman.

Jack tells her not to worry about him and hangs up. Close by, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) assures Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) that he made a great first impression on her mom. They are sharing a close moment and Summer Newman (Hunter King) appears. Abby doesn’t want her there.

Cane Tells Lilly About Jack’s Shady Behaviour

Over at Hamilton-Winters Group, Cane Ashby and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) meet up with Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil). Charlie gets a text from Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) so he leaves. Cane lets Lily know what Jack is requesting.

Billy Throws Jack Out

At Jabot, Jack Abbott and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) discuss what the picture of Philip Chancellor may mean. Billy points out the fact that Philip is dead and wonders where Jack sees this going. Jack is concerned he could have inherited some health issues. Billy jumps on the word “inherit” and accuses him of trying to take over Chancellor. Billy throws him out.

Victoria and Ashley Speculate Person Targeting Newman

Back at Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman, and Ashley Abbott speculate who could be targeting the company. Ashley thinks Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a motive. Victoria then comes back with it possibly being Abby Newman.

Nick Invites Abby to A Party

Back at the Dive Bar, Arturo Rosales and Abby Newman take selfies. He then admits he hasn’t looked at her social media yet. Abby ignores that she is summoned to the office. Abby gets a party invites from Nick Newman which leaves her puzzled. They decide to go to Arturo’s place.

Charlie Leaves Shauna

At the penthouse, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) checks on Shauna then leaves. Once Neil is gone Charlie Ashby comes out of hiding. They make out. Shauna brings up sex and Charlie gets uncomfortable and leaves.

Cane Declares He’ll Go to War With Jack

Back at Hamilton-Winters, Neil Winters arrives. Cane Ashby tells Neil to get Jack Abbott to back off. Neil does not agree with Cane’s accusations. Cane declares it will be war if he tries to get a court order to exhume the body. Later, Cane and Lily Ashby flirt and kiss. In the dining room, Neil chats with Jack who says he never saw this coming.

Billy Joins Summers For Poker

Billy Abbott arrives home and is aggravated. Summer Newman asks him if he had a bad day at the office. Billy complains about Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) being away. Then points out to her that he is her mother’s boyfriend. He goes upstairs and Summer calls some people over. Soon there’s a poker game going. Billy watches and struggles with temptation and joins in.

Abby and Arturo Relationship in Trouble

Arturo Rosales and Abby Newman arrive at his place. They kiss. She apologizes for her father. They start kissing again and he offers to get another drink while gone Abby finds a bra behind a pillow. Arturo comes back to find Abby gone.

Ashley and Victoria Receive A Threat

At Newman Enterprises, Ashley Abbott and Victoria Newman realize the documents dates coincide with J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) tenure. Ashley thinks he had a motive. Another computerized message comes through and it is asking if they enjoyed reading what he sent, he has access to all their files and can release them whenever he pleases.
