The Young and the Restless RECAP Monday, September 17: Ashley’s Mystery Meeting, Billy Gets Set Up

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Monday, September 17, 2018 reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) questions Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on if Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) got any answers regarding the photo. Jack says it was just a photo and probably will not lead them anywhere.

Kyle Sets Billy Up

Over at Jabot, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) assures Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) that he has been listening to her advice and has cut some cost.

Later, Kyle Abbott gets on the phone with an acquaintance to connect him to a bookie organization. He makes the remark that it’s too rich for his blood, but he would know someone interested. After, Billy gets an email to join an elite circle of gamblers.

At the police station, Abby Newman confronts Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) for making a mess of the launch party. She points out that he could’ve waited till later to arrest Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Rey says she is right and agrees to put out a statement.

Summer Tries To Apologize

Summer Newman (Hunter King) finds Kyle Abbott at Jabot. She apologizes to him and says she doesn’t like how they left things. Summer don’t want to lose his friendship. Kyle puts her on notice and let’s her know that his life does not revolve around her. Kyle insists they move on.

At the Athletic Club dining room, Ashley Abbott meets up with a man. Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) sees them. She goes over to Neil and pulls him to the table and introduces the guy as her new chemist.

Abby Meets Lola Rosales

At Crimson Lights, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) introduces Abby Newman to his sister Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Lola points out she is one of her followers. Lola then admits to calling Rey Rosales. Arturo gets aggravated. Rey appears and Lola tries to get them to work things out but he and Abby leaves. Rey and Lola hug.

At Newman Enterprises, Billy Abbott comes by and drops off a stuffed animal of Katie’s to Victoria Newman (Amelia Henile) and takes a call from Ashley Abbott. She is upset that he terminated their contract with Typing A Consulting and hangs up on him.

Billy rants to Victoria about his unappreciated ideas at Jabot. She brings up his gambling. Billy says he has been open about it. Victoria reminds him why she is not so open-minded about it.

Ashley’s Mysterious Meeting

Back at the Athletic Club, Ashley Abbott tells the new chemist she will be paying him out of her pocket from now on.

Neil Winters welcomes Ashley Abbott in at his place. They start kissing. After, Ashley Abbott complains about how her life feels like putting out fires. He wants them to go away to New York, but Ashley says she can’t.

At Dark Horse, Abby Newman and Arturo Rosales bicker over Rey Rosales. Arturo makes his point by asking Nick Newman if he would ever make up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Nick replies, “Not in this lifetime.” After, Abby chats with Jack Abbott and wonders what he is going to do. Jack knows Albert Miller was a monster and may leave it alone. He has Abby give her word that she will not mention it to Victor.
