The Young and the Restless RECAP Monday, June 25: Dina Reveals Jack’s Father

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Monday, June 25, 2018, reveals that over at the Dive Bar Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) glance at each other from different sides of the bar.

Nick Stands Up To His Father

Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) hands Nick a champagne glass and tells him how sexy it was to see him standing up to his dad. Victoria Newman (Ameila Heinle) walks over to Nick to make sure he is okay and he mentions to her that he hates their mother being stuck in the middle.

Then she goes and asks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) if he needs a ride home. Nick and Sharon decide to go home but first, he walks past his dad and gets in a few last words.

Abby Makes It Clear She’s Over Arturo

At the Abbott place, it’s the next morning. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) chat about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Kyle brings up Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Abby lets him know they aren’t together. Then Abby goes to the door and Arturo is standing there and she tells him he is trespassing.

Nick Fears J.T.’s Return

Over at Crimson Lights, Nick Newman informs Sharon McAvoy that his private investigator found out someone was using J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) credit card. Nick is afraid that J.T. may be heading back to Genoa City. Abby Newman arrives and chats with Nick.

Then Nick decides to go see his sister and Sharon tags along. Arturo Rosales comes in and questions Abby about what happened and why she will not speak to him. She tells him she has nothing to say.

Abby Exploits Arturo Cheating

Arturo Rosales continues to follow Abby Newman and catches her in the Newman Enterprises elevator. She gets off the elevator and he goes right behind her. He questions her again and she brings up finding the bra and accuses him of seeing someone else.

Nick and Vitor Put Differences Aside For J.T.

In Victoria Newman’s office, Nick Newman and Sharon McAvoy are there and they chat about Nick’s findings and the possibility of J.T. Hellstrom coming back.

Victor Newman comes in and immediately tells Nick he is not welcomed there but once he learns the information Nick has received then he wants them to put their differences aside and work together to find J.T. Sharon takes Nikki to the break room and questions what if J.T.’s not dead. Victoria is convinced it is not J.T., but Sharon thinks otherwise.

Arturo and Abby Reconcile 

Over in the hallway, Arturo tells Abby that the bra belongs to his sister and gets her on the phone to confirm his story. Abby feels bad and apologizes. He accepts and they kiss. Abby goes to Victoria’s office to warn them about an email.

It warns that Newman Enterprises will not be the same after Pat Harvey’s newscast. They watch as the reporter claims Victor Newman’s leaked medical files shows that he is battling a serious illness. Victor says it’s outrageous, but admits he is seeing a specialist. He says the only one who could have got a hold of that kind of info would be J.T.

Devon and Hilary Return

Over at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, he and Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) arrive home from their trip. They chat and start to make out and Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) interrupts. They notice something is off with her so Hilary hints to Devon to give them some time alone and he leaves to go to the office.

Hilary gets Shauna to open up to her and learns that Shauna is afraid she scared Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) off by telling him she was not a virgin. Hilary feels if Charlie is judging her then he doesn’t deserve her.

Jill Abbott Declines Kyle’s Request

At the Dive Bar, Kyle Abbott meets up with his father who is working on getting a court date set to have Phillip Chancellor’s body exhumed. Jack Abbott fills Kyle in on Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) declining his request with colorful language. Kyle comes up with another way.

Dina Confirms Jack’s Father

Jack Abbott and Kyle Abbott arrive at the Abbott mansion. Kyle suggests that Jack pursue another path and there’s someone who could help. Jack asks “Who?” Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) appears and says “Me.” Jack shows Dina the photo he found in the safe deposit box.

She doesn’t remember putting it there. She asks him to get her glasses and gets a good look at the photo and says “That’s him, Jackie. That’s your father.” Jack asks more questions and she confirms again.

Devon Confronts Charlie

At Hamilton-Winters Group, Devon Hamilton talks to Charlie Ashby. He asks him about giving Shauna Nelson the cold shoulder. Charlie tells Devon that Shauna said she wasn’t a virgin and he may have made her believe he wasn’t either. Devon wonders if he freaked out because he hasn’t had sex yet and Charlie confirms it. Devon gives him a pep talk and encourages him to be honest with Shauna.

Devon Hamilton returns home. He and Hilary compare notes on the Shauna Nelson and Charlie Ashby situation. Hilary thinks they sound like parents. They both agree they will be amazing parents and kiss. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs.
