The Young and the Restless Recap Friday, September 7: Billy Gambling Heading Out Of Control, Phyllis Tolerates“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Friday, September 7, 2018 reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) shows up with his bags and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) greets him at the door. She is happy to have him back.

She brings up Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) living there and he admits it’s weird. They talk about work, then Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). After, the subject of Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) comes up and who Jack’s father could be. Abby points out that Dina talked about the club and Stardust Inn and she may have had her affair there. She tells him to check their records of who was there.

Later, Jack comes into the room and overhears Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) on a phone call to Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). He questions if they are a couple now and she says they have been dating. Talk turns to his paternity and Abby joins them. He let’s her know her idea didn’t pan out. Jack wants Ashley to ask Neil if the server company ever came across anything personal of Dina’s. They look at the photo Dina kept in her safe deposit box. They think if Phillip Chancellor turned down Dina then maybe she turned to one of the other men in the photo.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) arrives at his hotel room in Vegas and Phyllis Summers comes in behind him. Billy talks about how much money he could win. Billy senses Phyllis doesn’t want him to play, but Phyllis says she trusts him and regrets accusing him of wanting her daughter.

They play poker on the bed and Billy wins. They are making out when there is a knock at the door which is Sinead (Lira Kellerman). Phyllis is suspicious of her. Phyllis asks Sinead what is in it for her since she got Billy in the game. Sinead says she was hoping Jaboat will be back up for grabs at the table. Later, Phyllis and Billy celebrate after Billy wins big. After sex, Sinead returns and wants to make sure Billy is playing in the next round. Billy says he is staying and Phyllis looks worried.

At home, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and the twins are having a hard time without Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil). They are anxious to go see her. Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) and Cane have a moment alone and Charlie admits he is scared he may say the wrong thing to his mom.

At Walworth, Lily Ashby assures her family that she is okay. Lily asks Charlie Ashby to film a documentary on their family while she is in there. Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) let’s her know they put money in her account. Cane sends the twins out and once alone Lily admits how hard things are.

Cane asks her what time they turn off the lights and she says 10:00 pm and Cane says he will turn off the lights at 10:00pm everynight until she returns home. Lily cries about the guilt and inability to forgive herself. Outside the door Charlie sees her crying and looks disheartened.
