At Sharon McAvoy’s place, she is on hold with the station and tells Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the job she took. She hangs up and her and Nick talk about Rey Rosales. Nick doesn’t think that Sharon should be holding a grudge against him. He assures her she is a capable of doing the job. They kiss.
At the Abbott mansion, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) look for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) who appears with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Traci says that her and Ashley have been talking about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams).
After Billy and Traci leave the room. Kyle asks Ashley why she is sidelining him. Billy learns from his bookie that he’s $50,000 down and leaves for the office. Kyle continues to badger Ashley. Ashley sits Traci down to fill her in on Billy. Traci wants to stage an intervention.

At the Athletic Club, Matt Miller (Richard Gleason) tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he will have to get his answers elsewhere. Jack presses the idea but Matt tells him he will have to get the DNA from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Nick Newman appears and Jack introduces him to his uncle. Jack tells Nick he could be his uncle as well. Matt decides to try to make a compromise with Victor.
At Newman Enterprises, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) chats with her dad about Jack Abbott’s search. She worries about his stress levels. After Victor leaves Abby thinks about taking his coffee mug but changes her mind. She goes and joins Victor and Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) while he’s getting his check-up.
After Abby is gone Nate warns Victor about his new stress affecting him. Matt arrives and wants Victor to give Jack the answers he is looking for. Later, Jack arrives and Nate does a DNA test and says they could have the results as early as tomorrow.
Back at the police station, Sharon McAvoy reports for work. Rey Rosales is happy she came. He tells her about a woman named Ivy who is connected to a drug gang. Sharon joins Rey in the interrogation room with Ivy.
After, Rey tells Sharon she’s done great. Rey sends Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) a text to let him know Sharon’s first day went well and everything is going according to plan.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott and Billy Abbott bicker. Kyle reminds Billy he screwed over his brother and wouldn’t repeal the blood Abbott clause and that actions have consequences. Billy asks him what that means but Kyle walks out.
Back at home, Sharon McAvoy tells Nick Newman about Ivy, whose family was broken up by her lies. They both seem shaken thinking about it. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs!
