The Young and the Restless RECAP Friday, September 14: Abby Reveals Shocking Information

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Friday, September 14, 2018 reveals that over at Crimson Lights, Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) is relieved when she finds Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) there. Sharon was scared she was being attacked and Tessa replied that she was.

Nate Wants Tessa To Go To The Hospital

She explains how a man jumped her when she was alone. Sharon wants to call the police but Tessa begs her not to. She doesn’t want to put her sister in danger. Sharon notices bruises all over Tessa and wants her to go to the ER. Shortly after, Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) arrives and Sharon tells him there was trouble. Nate wants Tessa to go to the hospital but she refuses. Sharon asks if he will look her over and Tessa agrees to that. Sharon wants to look at the security footage but Tessa says she erased it.

Kyle Meets Lola Rosales

At a Cuban food truck, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) changes his order and verbally spars with the young woman who owns it which is Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Kyle tells her he has never saw her food truck there before around his family’s building. Lola talks about being her own boss and sarcastically says she hopes he’ll let her truck stay by his building.

 Kyle Knows Billy Is Gambling

At Jabot, Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) learns that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is trying to free up cash for the Jaboutiques launch. After Gloria is gone Billy places a bet over the phone. Later he screams into the phone asking how much money someone cost him. Gloria returns and tells him she overheard him and knows he is gambling again. She warns him to watch his back. Kyle Abbott arrives. Gloria and Billy leave. Kyle looks through the office and finds paper with wages on it in the trash. Gloria reappears and Kyle says he found the papers in the elevator and brings up Billy’s gambling. Gloria plays dumb.

Abby Reveals Shocking Info

Over at the Abbott mansion, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) chats with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is leaving. Abby fills Ashley in on getting a response on the photo from Matt Miller. Abby tells her the man in the photo is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) father. Ashley doesn’t want to tell Jack yet. She wants to find out the truth first and says she will reach out to Matt herself.

Billy and Jack Argue About Jabot

At the Dive Bar, Abby Newman meets up with Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) who tells her if she sticks around she will get to meet Lola Rosales. Abby wishes Arturo would have told her that his brother was a cop. At the club bar, Billy Abbott and Jack Abbott bicker about Jabot. Billy asks Jack about the repeat payments to Type A Consulting but Jack knows nothing about it.

Jack Disturbed To Find Out Victor’s Father Is In The Photo

After, Abby joins Jack and tells him Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) arrest is working to the advantage of Dark Horse. Abby ends up telling Jack about Matt Miller claiming the guy in the photo is Albert Miller. Jack is very disturbed. Back at the Dive Bar, Lola arrives and tells Arturo how her truck is doing good near Jabot. He let’s her know Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) wants to see her.

Ashely Is Up To Something

Back at the Abbott mansion, Billy Abbott asks Ashley Abbott about the Type A Consulting. She explains she farmed out research and covered the expenses. After she is alone she makes a call to someone and says they have to be more careful.

Billy Is Losing Money

Back at Jabot, Billy Abbott is upset over another gambling loss. He calls his broker to cash in some stocks. And that’s a wrap.
