They share a toast from the glasses Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) got. Devon chats about places they’ll travel. Then talks about making babies. They share a passionate kiss and Hilary whispers to Devon, “We don’t have much time.” He gets into the bed with her.
They talk about their love for each other and Hilary asks him to make her service a celebration. She then tells him to move on and adds there is an amazing woman out there who will give him kids and a family. Hilary assures Devon that she had a blessed life.
She says she got to marry him and hear their child’s heartbeat and that made all her dreams come true. She kisses his head and he holds her tight. Hilary asks Devon to be there for Shauna. Memories from their relationship flash through their minds. Devon recalls a story she told him about the soul sisters becoming the stars in the sky, then he breaks down after realizing Hilary has passed away.
At Phyllis Summers’ place, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) shows up looking for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who missed a meeting they had. They chat about the wedding. Phyllis fills her in on Devon Hamilton marrying her because it was their last chance. Lauren is upset that Billy was not there for her. She suggests they go for drinks.
Billy Abbott arrives at the Abbott mansion. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) assumes he has been at Hilary Curtis’ wedding. Billy says he didn’t want to intrude. He then asks Kyle if he wants to go blow off some steam.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) talks to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Tessa tells her there is no lies left then she promises to always protect Mariah. Sharon just wants the best for her daughter.
At home, Mariah Copeland runs into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who questions her about the wedding. Mariah says it was beautiful, but she didn’t realize it would be the last time she saw Hilary Curtis. Nick tells her he loves her and leaves.
Sharon McAvoy arrives. She tells Mariah that Tessa Porter seems committed to her. After Sharon goes upstairs Mariah sneaks out with her bags. She goesand gets into the car with Tessa. Tessa realizes that Mariah has changed her mind and is not going.
Mariah tells her she intended on going but can’t leave her family. She hopes Tessa finds her sister and they can be together one day. Tessa urges Mariah to move on. They cry and kiss goodbye.
Over at the Athletic Club, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is impressed with Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) recent work and has someone in mind to hire. At the Dive Bar, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) joins Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Nick Newman.
They chat about Hilary Curtis before getting down to business. Victoria and Victor appear. Then Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is not far behind. Billy Abbott appears and Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott are worried when he shouts that drinks are on Jabot.
Jack confronts Billy about him not being there for Phyllis Summers. Billy wants Jack to stay out of his personal life. Phyllis and Lauren Baldwin overhear and Lauren points out that Billy is being a jackass. Phyllis and Billy bicker and Lauren gets away from them.
Close by, Victor and Victoria ask Nikki to step in at Newman Enterprises. Nikki is hesitant at first thinking it’s pitting her against Nick Newman, but still agrees. Nick overhears. Nick joins Phyllis and Billy. Nick says he thinks Fenmore’s might be a good fit for his company.
Summer appears and confronts him on wanting to steal business from Jabot. Nick badgers Billy about the image he is putting on Jabot and talks about his gambling. He says it affects his kids and Summer and Phyllis are better without him.
Billy says Nick is acting like his father. Billy swings and a fistfight breaks out. Nick warns Billy he does not want him as an enemy. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs.
