The Young and the Restless RECAP For Monday, June 4: Summer’s Back With A Secret, Neil Sabotages Hilary

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Monday, June 4, 2018, reveals that over at Jabot Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is stressing about what the public thought of Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) display. He tells Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) that the campaign was horrendous. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) arrives and is upset about the fines they may receive for the nudity.

Kyle’s Nudity Trending

Kyle arrives and points out that the birthday hashtag is trending. Billy and Devon agree to keep in touch. After Devon leaves, Kyle tells Billy he thinks the publicity is a good thing. Gloria says that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) lets his ego get in the way and she likes what Billy brings to the company.

Hilary and Jack Meet Up

Over at the Athletic Club, Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and Jack Abbott chat about Kyle Abbott’s public display. Jack says it wouldn’t have happened had he been in charge. They discuss living at the club and Hilary lets him know that she has an appointment with a realtor and hopes to find a home. She tells him he needs to find one as well.

Shauna Scared of Being Caught

Over at the Ashby’s, Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) and Shauna (Camryn Hamm) chat in his bedroom. Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) yells out to let Charlie know she is leaving and Shauna gets nervous someone is going to end up catching her there.

Jack Puts Down Billy

Jack Abbott arrives at Jabot and he is gloating because of Billy Abbott’s campaign going south. Gloria Bardwell lets Jack know Billy is in a meeting when he asked her to help him find a house. She tells Jack there will be a huge commission coming to her. Billy appears and he and Jack act as if things are good between them. Later Billy lets Gloria know he is leaving for the day and she wants to as well. She texts Jack.

Neil Spies on Hilary

Hilary Curtis arrives at Devon Hamilton’s building and runs into Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). He wonders what she is doing there. He learns a realtor is showing her Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Egan) old penthouse. The realtor shows up and they go inside and Neil comes up with the plan to look at the place as well.

Hilary and Jack Get Into Bidding War

Hilary sees through what Neil is doing and calls him out on trying to keep her from being close to Devon. She points out that since she is having Devon’s baby that it would be better if she were just right across the hall. Shortly after, Gloria Bardwell shows up with Jack Abbott who is interested in buying the place as well and they get into a bidding war. Later, Devon arrives and Hilary fills him in on what his dad is up too and he suggested that she just move in with him.

Lily Wants to Meet Shauna’s Parents

Over at Crimson Lights, Lily Ashby runs into Charlie Ashby and Shauna and tells Shauna she wants to meet her parents. Shauna tells her they are away taking care of a sick relative right now. Lily tells Shauna when they get back Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will host a barbecue.

Kyle Admits Nudity Was on Purpose

At the Dive Bar, Kyle Abbott joins Billy Abbott and Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). Phyllis points out that it is true there is no such thing as bad publicity and he realizes they have been reading the same sales report. Phyllis reveals Jabot’s Birthday Suit sunscreen has sold fast all over the country. Kyle hints he dropped his trunks on purpose. Billy says he will deal with Kyle later.

Jack Flirts with Farrah

At the dinner table in the Athletic Club, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) chat about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wanting to leave town. She wants to know what Victor has done to make him feel that way. Victor reveals the truth about baby Christian’s paternity and says Nick is trying to keep him from his grandson. Over at the Bar, Jack Abbott joins Farrah Dubose (Erika Girardi), the realtor, and flirts with her. They decide to go to the Top Of The Tower.

Summer Enters Genoa City

Summer Newman (Hunter King) is seen cruising down the road and passes a sign that says welcome to Genoa City. Her phone rings and the caller ID says PAX and she declines the call.

Summer Shocks Billy and Phyllis

Billy Abbott and Phyllis Summers arrives at home and can’t keep their hands off each other. They undress as they head to the couch. They are finishing up with their rendezvous on the couch when Summer lets herself in. They are shocked to see her.

Charlie Reassures Shauna

Over in Charlie Ashby’s bedroom, he reassures Shauna that they will figure things out about her situation. Shauna doesn’t think she could get through this without him. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs.
