The Young And The Restless News: Melissa Claire Egan Living The Good Life Since Y&R Exit

The Young and the Restless fans are still having a tough time getting used to life in Genoa City without Chelsea Newman.  Melissa Claire Egan’s exit from the CBS soap opera was rather random, almost as random as her farewell scenes.

Since leaving The Young and the Restless, the popular actress doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to dive in to another acting gig.  In fact, Melissa Claire Egan is living the good life and enjoying her free time since her Y&R exit.  And, we can’t blame her, after all she was working full time on the daytime drama for years.  It’s nice to see her kicking back and making time for herself.

According to Egan’s Instagram, this weekend she enjoyed a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas with one of her gal pals, and they appeared to have a blast!  Also, the former Y&R actress has been focusing on herself and taking dance classes too.  We love that Melissa is making the most of her time off and couldn’t be more happy for her.  But, if we were to say we didn’t miss her, we would be lying.
