The Young And The Restless News: Beyonce’s Cousin Shanica Knowles Joins Y&R Cast

The Young and the Restless spoilers and comings and goings confirm that singer and actor Shanica Knowles has joined the cast of the CBS soap opera.

Shanica’s last may named sound familiar.  She’s actually the cousin of R&B icons Beyonce and Solange Knowles.  Shanica has appeared in a few Disney movies and TV shows.  Most recently she starred in the Lifetime biopic “Surviving Compton.”

According to Y&R spoilers, Shanica will be playing the part of a singer named Simone who catches Devon’s eye.  Will their relationship be strictly business, or could she be a new love interest?

Shanica will make her CBS soap opera debut on February 9, set your DVR’s!
