The Young and The Restless Jordi Vilasuso Talks His New Role On Y&R

The Young and the Restless star Jordi Vilasuso has revealed that he is so excited about his new role on the highly rated soap, that he is definitely feeling pumped over it!

As a matter of fact, the daytime television soap veteran has recently revealed that he can’t wait for his fans to see him in action on the small screen again. Jordi is playing a new character by the name of Rey. He is a mysterious stranger who quickly finds himself tangled up in some serious drama.

Jordi, who had previous roles in Guiding Light and a handful of other soaps, says that he didn’t expect to return to the world of daytime television so soon. Luckily, he’s had a change of heart.

So far the veteran actor has had nothing but positive things to say about the cast and crew of The Young and the Restless. Speaking to CBS Soaps in Depth, Jordi said, “I’ve worked on other soaps but have never been brought in, talked to and told the plans for the show. The leadership here is tremendous.”

If that weren’t enough, the actor also said that he’s ready to give it his all in front of the cameras once again. Jordi added, “As an actor when you do something special in a room, you can feel it in your bones.”
