The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Two New Faces & A Fan Favorite Comes Home

It’s going to be one hot and sizzling summer in Genoa City in the coming months. And no, we are not just talking about the weather. New The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Summer Newman is returning, and she’s bringing a suitcase full of drama along with her! Also, we will be seeing a new actor step in for Michael Mealor’s shoes as Kyle.

Hunter King

According to CBS Soaps in Depth, actress Hunter King is back where she belongs – and that’s home in Genoa City. She will be reprising her role as Summer Newman and apparently, she will be returning in time to stir things up. Hunter will be pulling in double duty as she will be filming both The Young and the Restless and her hit drama, Life in Pieces at the same time.

Two New Faces Sofia and Carlos

In addition, The Young and the Restless fans can expect to see two more new faces pop up in the coming weeks, including a character by the name of Sofia and another one named Carlos. Both Sofia and Carlos are scheduled to start taping sometime in mid-June.

A lot of fans speculated that the Sofia and Carlos characters were actually a casting call disguise for Summer and Kyle, but that was never confirmed. Earlier reports from reputable sources did say that Hunter King would be returning.
