According to reports, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver recently tweeted his love for The Young and the Restless and the storyline between Thad Luckinbill (JT) and Amelia Heinle (Victoria). He also sent his support to head writer Mal Young for his execution and how abuse was portrayed in the story.
Well, it looks like Mal Young has reciprocated that love as Drew will soon be guest starring on the top rated CBS soap.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that an all-star athlete has appeared on the show. Back in 2007, when Jack (Peter Begman) wanted to run for the Wisconsin state senate, a few big names helped him along the way. Three members of the Milwaukee Brewers — Jeff Suppan, Bill Hall, J.J. Hardy and Chris Capuano — appeared on-air as themselves to pose for a photo with the budding politician.
It’s without a doubt that fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for Drew Pearson. After all, The Young and the Restless along with other daytime television shows have a long history of bringing back recurring and guest stars on the small screen.
