The Young and The Restless Comings and Goings: Brooks Darnell Joins The Cast

The Young and the Restless comings and goings indicate that fans will soon be seeing a new face in Genoa City. In fact, reports tease that actor Brooks Darnell will be joining the cast of The Young and the Restless as Dr. Nate Hastings.

Many viewers will remember that the role was last played by actor Walter Fauntleroy back in 2011. Nate is the son of Oliver Barber Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) and Nathan Hastings, Dr. (Nathan Purdee). He’s also the nephew of Neil Winters (played by Kristoff St. Johnson) and Devon (Bryton James) Lily’s cousin (Christel Khalil). In other words, he’s family!

This will be Brooks’ first role on daytime television. But if fans already recognize him, that’s because he already has an extensive list of television series credits. Some of them include Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, The New Edition Story, All Yours, Bones, Total Recall, Breakout Kings and Nothing Personal.

So far The Young and the Restless producers have not made any comments about what we can expect from Brooks’ new character. Of course, it’s without a doubt that fans can’t wait to see him in action. After all, he is pretty easy on the eyes! His first episode should air sometime during the week of July 2. We can’t wait!
