The Young and the Restless Coming & Goings: Chelsea’s Mom Anita Returning To GC To Raise Some Hell

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Christian’s paternity bombshell is about to heat up in a big way. This might be good news for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) as she will be able to count on one more alley in her corner. That’s because there is a new report that says actress Catherine Bach is returning as Chelsea’s mother, Anita Lawson.
Chelsea and Nick are about to have some relationship problems soon. Chelsea has been keeping Christian’s real paternity from Nick for quite a while. Spoilers tease that when Nick finds out about Christian’s paternity, it will leave him absolutely devastated. Looking for a shoulder to cry on, he’ll end up leaning on his ex-wife Sharon for help.
Meanwhile, it looks like Chelsea’s mother Anita will be stirring up some drama as well. Catherine shared an image on Instagram with several of her The Young and the Restless co-stars including Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael) and captioned it with, “From Hazzard County to Genoa City gonna be raising hell very soon! #mamasback.”
So far Anita hasn’t made any comments about her comeback. Also, CBS is yet to announce her return date to the series. Although, it’s safe to say at this point that Anita will be in Chelsea’s corner no matter what. How everyone else will react to it, is anybody’s guess. Fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
