The Young and the Restless Alyvia Alyn Lind Opens Up About Her Secret Talent!

The Young and the Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) is opening up about a very special talent she has. It looks like Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) may not be the only one of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) grandchildren who knows how to play a guitar. Apparently, Alyvia knows how to play a few tunes herself. The young actress plays Faith on the longtime running CBS soap. She loves playing the instrument whenever she’s not filming scenes.

Very few fans knew that this cutie was not only a talented actress but a budding musician, too. “I love playing the guitar,” Alyvia told CBS Soaps in Depth in a new interview. “My sister, Emily, also plays the guitar. We have guitar lessons every day or every other day, depending on our schedules.”

As a matter of fact, Alyvia’s musical talent helped her land two very exciting roles. She played a young Dolly Parton on the NBC movies, Coat of Many Colors and Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

Alyvia also says that she and her sister love to give their family private concerts, too. “On Friday nights, my sister and I will do shows for our family. We’ll go downstairs and sing and play guitar. It’s really fun.”

It’s without a doubt that fans can’t wait to see more of Alyvia both on and off screen. After all, she’s one of everyone’s fan favorites! It will be fun to see her pick up a guitar as her on screen character Faith on The Young and the Restless, too.
