The Bold and the Beautiful star Ingo Rademacher has some very exciting news he’s sharing with fans. The handsome German-born actor revealed that he has a new role on Starz’s thriller Counterpart. The series will premiere on Sunday, January 21.

Counterpart will “explore the mysterious parallel dimension hidden beneath a bureaucratic United Nations spy agency based in Berlin.” Ingo will make his debut during the seventh episode of the series as the best friend of the agency’s director.
According to Ingo, he’s very excited about this role. That’s because he’ll be working alongside his old friend, General Hospital star Nazanin Boniadi. She played Leyla on the hit ABC soap.
Ingo told CBS Soaps In Depth, “We were friends when she was on General Hospital. Her character’s husband and mine have the same title at the agency. There’s an East and a West Berlin, but there are two different dimensions and everybody has a counterpart. My character is in charge of the traffic between the two dimensions he’s one of the top guys in charge of security. There is a complete copy of you in the other dimension, but they could be dead or alive, in a completely different job or life.”
Nazanin’s character, Clare, travels between the two dimensions. Ingo added, “You never know which counterpart they actually are, so it becomes very, very interesting. Hopefully I’ll be back for a second season.”
Counterpart airs Sundays at 8pm EST on the Startz network. Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful is on weekdays on CBS. It’s without a doubt that fans will be excited to see Ingo on both shows!
