The Bold and the Beautiful Star Don Diamont Opens Up About His Parenting Techniques

Don Diamont’s character on the Bold and the Beautiful has a very complicated personal life. But according to the actor, thankfully he doesn’t have to deal with the same problems that Bill faces everyday, especially after his son Liam found out that he slept with his wife, Steffy. As a matter of fact, Don recently admitted that a lot of people often compliment him about the fine young sons that he has managed to raise in his life.

The actor Don has four sons with his ex-wife, Robin Braun. He also has twin boys with his current wife, Cindy Ambuehl and has helped raise his late sister Bette’s son. Don recently shared one of his biggest parenting secrets with his fans. And according to the handsome actor, it’s all about setting very strict rules and regulations from the beginning. Also, he is very careful not to cross the wrong lines. He knows when he can be a parent and when he should be a friend.

Don told CBS Soaps in Depth, “A lot of parents think that their kids will be really mad if they lay down the law, or that it’s going to hurt them, when in fact, the opposite is true.” I’m telling you, it’s all about keeping a schedule. Everybody’s happier when you’re strict about that.”

Also, Don makes it no secret that being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world. He added, “Is parenting hard? No doubt. I’ve often said, ‘I would like to be friends with my kids, but it’s more important that I’m their parent.’”
