The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Love Betrayed – Devastated Wyatt Dumps Katie, She’s Shocked

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that a few hearts about to be broken right in time for the Valentine’s Day holiday. As a matter of fact, a devastated Wyatt (Darin Brooks) catches Katie (Heather Tom) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) in the act!

Wyatt was not pleased when Katie attended Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) wedding on her own. He wanted to make their grand debut as a couple, but Katie didn’t think the timing was right. Also, she didn’t want to upstage her sister on her very special day. Yet, at the same time Thorne has been making it pretty clear that he also has the hots for Katie..

Things go from bad to worse for Wyatt when he sets up a romantic dinner for two for Katie. He’s got everything he needs from the flowers to the wine and even the chocolates. Unfortunately, Katie fails to show up. That’s when Wyatt peers through Katie’s telescope to see something that leaves him in complete shock: Thorne and Katie making out.

Actor Darin Brooks, who plays Wyatt, tells CBS Soaps in Depth, “I think it gets the best of him. When Katie does get home, Heather [Tom] and I talked about how we wanted it to be more of what’s not on the page in that he’s kind of testing her like ‘Are you going to tell me what happened?’ without actually saying that he say them.”

For Wyatt, it’s a confusing situation to be in. As much as Katie wants their relationship to be one without any strings attached, he realizes that he has feelings for her. Yet, he makes a rather rash decision about their future. Wyatt decides that he wants to break up, with Katie feeling like it just came out of left field. Darin adds that their lack of communication might be the ultimate straw that will break the camel’s back for them.
