The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: John McCook A Victim Of Online Scam!

Just when things were finally looking up for John McCook, it looks like he’s dealing with an online social media scam that no daytime television star wants to deal with.

The Bold and the Beautiful star is a victim of an online scam as apparently someone is pretending to be him and worse, requesting money from his fans. John is best known as his role of Eric Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.

According to reports, John caught wind of the scam pretty quickly and notified his fans and social media followers to not follow the imposter or worse, send any money to this individual. John took to his Twitter account to write, “private__johnmccook is a FAKE Instagram account. Block it. This person is asking for money to visit B&B. I am NOT on Instagram…Report any personal contact for money to local police.”

Just recently John shared the news that he would be returning to The Bold and the Beautiful after having hip replacement surgery. The procedure was so successful that John returned to the studios after only being out for two weeks.

Now, as far as what is in store for his character Eric Forrester remains to be seen. All we know is that he will be part of a new storyline and it will be one that will definitely keep fans at the edge of their seats!
