The Bold and the Beautiful Rena Sofer Signs New Contact, Looking Forward To New Challenges

We’ve got good news for Rena Sofer fans! The Bold and the Beautiful star has just signed a new contract with the hit CBS show, indicating that she is going to be on for at least one more season. The brunette beauty plays Quinn on the soap.

According to CBS Soaps in Depth, Rena recently renegotiated her contract, which means fans might be seeing more of Quinn in the coming months. At least, that’s what everyone is hoping as there hasn’t been much action going on between her and Eric. (John McCook) The actress made it no secret that she would like to see a new storyline for her character and perhaps even some new challenges for Quinn and Eric.

Rena recently told the publication, “I’ve resigned my contract and we’ll see what is in store for Quinn. Hopefully, something good will come out of it.”

Rena isn’t the only actress staying put. Her fellow co-star Karla Mosley (Maya Avant Forrester) also confirmed that she’s staying on the show, despite the fact that actor Jacob Young, who plays her husband Rick Forrester, has been moved to recurring status.

Karla said, “Contracts ebb and flow sometimes, so you kind of never know. It’s all part of being on a soap. But I’m still here!”

Of course, one of the reasons why Karla’s character Maya is staying on the show is because of the newest addition to the Avant family, Xander. Fans will soon enough find out about his backstory and what brings him to Los Angeles.
