The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Wednesday, May 23: Hope and Liam’s Baby Gets A Name

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Wednesday, May 23, 2018 reveals that over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continue talking about the situation with their daughters.

Brooke Tells Bill She Supports Hope & Liam

Brooke let’s Ridge know she will not stop supporting her daughter and it’s time for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to be together. Brooke adds that she supports Liam and Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) as parents but she will never support them as a couple again.

Ridge Wants The Wedding Postponed

Ridge argues that they are all three caught in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) plot. Brooke thinks it all needs to be settled before the baby is born. Ridge asks Brooke if the marriage could wait until after the baby is born. Hope comes down the stairs and interrupts and says Liam wants to get married now and she is not postponing her wedding. They continue to bicker and Ridge wants to know why no one is listening and then yells that there is not anything going on between Steffy and Bill.

Wyatt Feels Like He Is Selling His Soul

Over at Spencer Publications, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) tells Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that no one forced Liam Spencer to propose to Hope Logan and he can not blame himself. They talk about what Bill Spencer is doing is wrong. Wyatt points out there is a baby involved. Katie argues that Wyatt believed what his dad said because he knew it was possible. They go back and forth about Liam and what’s best for him. Wyatt feels like he is selling his soul. Katie wants Wyatt to let things play out. Wyatt asks her if she would feel the same way if Hope was not involved. Katie argues the fact that Bill Spencer and Steffy Forrester Spencer has a connection.

Steffy Tells Liam She is Naming Their Child After His Mother

Over at the cliff house, Steffy Forrester Spencer and Liam Spencer chat about their daughter. Liam tells Steffy he needs to go he don’t think he can be there being that he dad was just there. Steffy says he showed up uninvited. Liam points out what happened between her and Bill in that house. Steffy argues that nothing never happened between them and begs him to believe her. Steffy tells Liam he is the only man in her life and she loves him. She asks Liam not to marry Hope Logan. She tells Liam she does not want to argue and Liam wants to focus on the baby. Liam says it really touches him that she chose to name the baby after his mother. Steffy breaks out a picture of her and Liam. Liam hangs it on the wall for her. They talk about the good times they shared. Talk turns to Liam getting married. Steffy pleads with Liam to believe her. Liam leaves.

Liam Tells Hope Steffy Wants The Wedding Postponed, But He Said NO

Liam Spencer arrives over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s place looking for Hope Logan. He tells Brooke Forrester , Ridge Forrester, and Hope that he went to the doctor’s appointment with Steffy Forrester Spencer. He tells them they picked out a name for the baby and shares the name. He tells them Steffy picked out the name Kelly after his mom so his mom could live on through her. He adds that he and Steffy had a long talk and she wants him to wait about getting married. Hope wants to know how he responded and wants to know if the wedding is still on. Liam says the wedding is still on. Ridge is not happy about it.
