The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Wednesday, August 22: Wedding Cake War – Steffy And Hope Join Forces

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Wednesday, August 22, 2018 reveals that over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, the wedding is finishing up and the reception gets underway.

Friends And Family Celebrate Lope’s Marriage

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) congratulates the new married couple. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) makes a speech and then Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Katie Logan (Heather Tom) adds a few words. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wishes them well and happiness.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thanks everyone for being there and sharing their special day. Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) speaks and everyone looks shocked. She congratulates them. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tells Steffy she appreciates it and them coming together is a big step forward. Everyone mingles.

Taylor Causes A Scene

Then Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) gets everyone’s attention. She says she has a few words to say. Brooke interrupts her and tells Donna to put on the music. Brooke then walks over to Taylor and confronts her. They bicker and head to the kitchen to talk.

Brooke tells Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) that she needs to talk to Taylor alone. They leave. Brooke tells Taylor whatever she was going to say out there she can say to her in here. Taylor starts ranting that the wedding should have never happened.

Back out in the main room, Hope and Liam kiss. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) tells Wyatt she loves a good wedding and thanks him for bringing her. Xander Avant (Aidan Bradley) asks Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) what she thinks of her first big Forrester wedding. She is surprised there hasn’t been any drama.

Steffy is walking around admiring a photo of Kelly that was just sent to her and Liam walks up and does the same. Steffy tells Liam she is happy for him. He says it means a lot to him to have her there.

Back in the kitchen, Taylor and Brooke verbally spar. Brooke accuses Taylor of being jealous of her. Taylor looks at the cake and says it represents everything she has stole from her daughter. Then says it’s time to cut the cake. Brooke says, “You wouldn’t dare!”

Taylor And Brooke’s Cake Fight

Taylor sticks your finger in the cake and takes a taste. She then digs in it and gets a big piece and shoves it in Brooke’s face. Then she starts laughing historically and tells Brooke now she can have her cake and eat it too. Brooke dumps some cake on her head and then they have a food fight.

Hope approaches Steffy and they wonder if it’s a good thing for their mom’s to be alone together. They go to check on them and find them having a food fight. Steffy tells Taylor to put the cake down and asks what has gotten in to her.

Steffy And Hope Scold Their Moms

Brooke blames Taylor for it all. Steffy questions Taylor if she started the fight. Steffy is furious with her mom. Hope is upset with Brooke too. Hope and Steffy tell them everyone is wondering where they are and they need to get back out there. Hope tells them they deserve a little walk of shame. Steffy agrees.

They make them go back into the crowd covered in cake. Everyone is shocked. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) makes a joke about cutting back on sugar. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) says does this mean there is not going to be any cake. Hope and Steffy make them explain what happened. They apologize to everyone.

Steffy tells Taylor she is worried about her. Taylor leaves. Brooke apologizes to Liam for ruining his wedding and he says she hasn’t ruined anything. Then he asks her if the cake was good.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) approaches Brooke and takes his finger and gets a taste of cake off of her. Then says it’s almost as sweet as her. They kiss.

Later up in Brooke’s bedroom, she and Ridge chat after she has had a shower. She tells him she knew it was a bad idea to have Taylor there. Ridge says everything went fine and forget about the cake. Ridge makes a joke about the food fight and they make out.

Liam And Hope Kick Off Their Honeymoon

Outside at the cabin, Liam Spencer has it set up for Hope Logan for them to have their honeymoon. She removes her robe and has lingerie on. They kiss and flash back to their special day.
