The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Wednesday, August 1: Steffy Refuses Bill’s Proposal

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Wednesday, August 1, 2018 reveals that over at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) place, he continues trying to convince Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) to get married right away.

Steffy Tells Bill She Doesn’t Love Him

Bill tells Steffy that he took a bullet from her mother and that he would take a bullet for her. He wants to make Steffy happy and give her a fresh start. Steffy thinks things are happening way to quickly. Bill then brings up that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will always be in Liam Spencer’s life and she needs to make a choice for her future. Steffy agrees that she needs to make a choice and tells Bill she can’t marry him because she is not in love with him.

Steffy Refuses Bill’s Proposal and Chooses Her

Steffy says her choice is her. Then brings up that Hope would not be pregnant if it wasn’t for Bill’s manipulations. Steffy says she needs to rise above the heart ache and pain. Bill gives Steffy the shares anyways. She thanks him. Steffy says she is strong and independent and does need a man to make her whole. She takes off Bill’s necklace and says she does not belong to anyone and leaves.

Ridge Pressures Liam

At the beach house, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continues his conversation with Liam Spencer about stopping Steffy Forrester Spencer from marrying Bill Spencer. Ridge says that Steffy is broken and has given up on happiness because of Liam. He wants Liam to do something. Ridge tells Liam he is like a son to him and knows Steffy really wants to be with him. Liam can not get over Steffy running back to Bill. Ridge leaves.

Hope Feels Guilty

In Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) bedroom, she tells Hope Logan that Steffy Forrester Spencer had her chance and ruined it. Hope feels bad for Steffy finding her and Liam Spencer together. Brooke assures her it is not her fault.

Brooke reminds Hope she is carrying Liam’s child. Brooke thinks since Steffy ran straight to Bill Spencer that it proves they belong together. Brooke tells Hope not to worry about Steffy and that she has her own life to think about.

Brooke and Ridge Argue

Hope leaves and Ridge Forrester arrives. Ridge tells Brooke he had a chat with Liam Spencer. Ridge is glad that Steffy didn’t walk in on Liam and Hope any later than she did. Brooke tells him not to make it sound so cheap. Ridge says he will never accept Bill Spencer for his daughter. Brooke thinks there is something between Steffy and Bill and tells Ridge he needs to deal with it. They bicker.

Liam Does Not Want Bill Around Steffy or Kelly

Back at the beach house, Liam Spencer goes through his phone and looks at pictures of baby Kelly and then him and Steffy with their baby. There is a knock at the door and it’s Hope Logan. Hope asks him if he is okay. Liam says he has still be thinking about Steffy Forrester Spencer. They both wish they could do something to change things. Hope tells Liam that she still wants to spend the rest of her life with him especially since she is now carrying his child. Liam says he does not want Bill around Steffy or Kelly. Hope tells Liam that it is out of his control.
