The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Tuesday, May 22: Katie Selfishly Advises Wyatt To Keep Quiet & Get What He Deserves

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Tuesday, May 22, 2018 reveals that over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) comes down the stairs in her wedding dress and she tells Brooke that she hopes she doesn’t mind the alterations they did.

Ridge Warns Hope The Wedding Might Not Happen

Brooke is fine with it. Brooke is happy for Hope. Brooke tells Hope she is the most beautiful bride. They joke how Brooke is biased. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walks in. Hope exits the room to go change before she’s gone Ridge blurts out that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is being manipulated into thinking Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) are having an affair and that’s why she is wearing that dress. He says Liam will figure it out and hopefully before they exchange vows. Hope has a shocked look on her face. Hope tells Ridge that he wants to believe the best for his daughter and he says it’s not about what he believes it’s about facts.

Brooke Begs Ridge To Move On

Brooke tells Ridge she wants to talk to him alone. Hope exits. Brooke wants to know why Ridge is doing this and tells him he needs to accept Liam is no longer with Steffy. Brooke begs Ridge to move on and accept it. Ridge is not accepting. He tells Brooke maybe she needs to accept this is all a fantasy and based on a lie.

Wyatt Wants To Come Clean

Over at Spencer Publications, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) tells Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that she got there as quick as she could. He tells her not to worry Bill Spencer is not in the building. He fills her in on the fact that he didn’t tell Liam Spencer the truth. Katie says she is not advocating lying but Wyatt points out, in this case, it benefits her needs. She says it benefits a lot of people. Wyatt is upset by the whole mess. Katie wants to know why the painting is there and Wyatt fills her in. Wyatt suggests he gives everything back to Bill so he knows he can not use him and go tell Liam the truth.

Katie Suggests Wyatt Stay Silent

Katie tells him that staying silent is not causing Liam any pain. She wants him to let Liam and Hope have their happily ever after and for Wyatt to get what he has been longing for, real acceptance.

Liam Tells Steffy He Is Moving On

Steffy Forrester Spencer is at a doctor’s appointment. Liam Spencer arrives and Steffy thanks him for coming. Liam says he does not want to miss the appointments. Talk turns to Steffy being with Bill Spencer. Steffy asks Liam if he came there to start a fight with her. He points out to her he saw Bill with the painting and knows he has been back over at her house. She tells Liam she kept telling Bill to leave but Liam is not buying it. Liam insists he is moving on.

Steffy Wants To Name The Baby After His Mother, He’s Touched

They start to get heated and the doctor walks in. The doctor reminds them both that it is best for baby and mama to keep stress to a minimum. They admire the ultrasound and talk about their daughter. The doctor says the baby is right on target. The doctor reminds them not to lose sight of what is important, their daughter. Steffy hopes some part of their daughter reminds Liam of his mom and she wishes she would have got to meet her. She tells Liam she has been thinking about his mother and wants to name their daughter after his mom if he approves. Liam is ecstatic to call his daughter Kelly Spencer. Liam gets teared up.
