The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Thursday, August 23: Thorne Wants Katie To Take Bill To Court

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap Thursday, August 23, 2018 reveals that over at Spencer Publications, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) chat about Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) wedding.

Bill Must Choose Will Or Work

Justin is surprised that Bill didn’t take it upon himself to just show up at the wedding and Bill says he wouldn’t do that to his son. Bill says he is going to make amends. Then talks about how Will wanted nothing to do with him the other night, but thanks to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) he is excited about seeing him today.

Bill wants to be there more for Will since he didn’t get the chance with his oldest sons growing up. Justin gets a message and its a business deal they have been waiting on and they want to meet today. Bill tells Justin to tell them they will meet tomorrow. Justin rants about him blowing them off.

Bill says he is not going to disappoint his son and Justin says he will call Katie. Bill then replies, “Like hell you will!” They continue to get bicker. Bill wants Justin to say he is sick and Justin reminds him they have a lot of money riding on the deal.

Over in the office at Forrester Creations, Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) and Katie Logan make out. Talk turns to Bill Spencer. Katie does not want Bill to miss any major events in Will’s life like he has with Liam Spencer. Thorne points out how Bill has been AWOL for quite some time. Then questions if he has any type of relationship with Will at all.

Thorne Wants To Be There For Katie’s Son

Katie hopes that changes today. Thorne don’t want her to get her hopes up, but she feels since their intense conversation they had Bill will take things more seriously. Katie says she is going to head home and get Will ready for his daddy’s day.

Thorne says he will stop by before he leaves because he wants Will to know he is there for him especially in case Bill is a no show. Katie believes Bill wants to make up for lost time. Thorne let’s her know he is always there for them. She kisses him and leaves.

Across the hall in the other office, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) make out. Brooke thanks Ridge for being at the wedding and being supportive. Ridge tells Brooke that Thorne Forrester and Katie Logan needs their help. Brooke is grateful for Thorne being in Katie’s life and being good to Will.

Ridge then says that it’s great because he needs a positive male role model in his life to compensate for his idiot father. Brooke thinks it would be nice if Katie didn’t have to be a single parent any longer. Ridge thinks Bill is useless, but Brooke wants them to keep an open mind since Bill is trying to make amends. Brooke points out Bill is suffering and has no one. Brooke leaves to deliver papers.

Thorne Discusses Will’s Custody With Carter

Thorne Forrester joins Ridge Forrester in the office. Ridge senses something is wrong and Thorne begins to explain how Will is supposed to be spending the day with Bill Spencer. Ridge asks if he has a problem with that. Thorne says yes it’s Bill Spencer, he is the kids role model and he has a big problem with that. Ridge agrees with Thorne.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) arrives. They confide in him the problem with Bill and how he has been absent in Will’s life. Thorne thinks Will would be better off if Katie had sole custody. Carter thinks the courts would agree and thinks Katie would have a strong case since Bill hasn’t been around like he should. Thorne and Carter leave. Brooke reappears. Ridge fills her in on the conversation he just had with Thorne and Carter.

Bill Stands Up Will

At home, Katie Logan chats with Will. He wants to know when his father is coming and is excited to see him. Thorne Forrester arrives. He has a candy bar for Will. Will wonders where his dad is and Katie says he will be there very soon and tells Will to go upstairs and she will let him know when he is there. Thorne starts to wonder if Bill Spencer is going to be a no show.

Katie gets a phone call from Bill saying that he can not make it to get Will because of work. Katie gets furious and tells him he has to choose his son over work. She hangs up and is very upset.
