The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Thursday, August 16: Steffy Makes Taylor Promise To Behave

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Thursday, August 16, 2018 reveals over at the cliff house, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) visits Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) and has a gift for Kelly which is a stuffed animal.

Hope Invites Steffy To The Wedding

Hope gives Steffy an invite to her wedding and wants them to come together as a family. Steffy didn’t realize they have set a date already. Steffy thinks it may be too soon for her to attend. Talk turns to Kelly. Then they talk about why Steffy made the choice to give up Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Hope thinks it’s important that Steffy attends the wedding. Steffy agrees to come and says she is going to need some moral support and asks if it is okay that she has a plus one. Hope says that fine. She then tells her that her mom is in town. Hope is okay with her mom coming too.

Liam Asks Wyatt To Be His Best Man

Over at the cabin, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) visits his brother Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Wyatt can not believe why Liam asked him over. He thinks he is being punked after Liam asks him to be his best man. They debate who else could be up for the job and then Wyatt agrees to do it. Wyatt reappears and has some bacon since Liam had promised to cook him breakfast. Liam says he does not know how to cook bacon.

Wyatt Reminds Liam Bill Manipulated Them

Wyatt wants to know if Liam is whole hearted about marrying Hope Logan. Wyatt puts out a scenario of Liam being able to have both Steffy Forrester Spencer and Hope Logan and wonders how he would handle it. Liam says it is not all about who he wants, but about who he wants to be. Wyatt agrees that Liam is a different person with Hope then he is with Steffy. Wyatt reminds Liam how Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) manipulated their lives and if it wasn’t for him that he would still be with Steffy.

Brooke Warns Ridge He Has To Accept The Wedding

At Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) chat about the wedding venue. Brooke reminds a bothered Ridge that Steffy Forrester Spencer gave Hope Logan and Liam Spencer her blessing. Brooke tells Ridge that he is going to have to coexist with the wedding.

Brooke Feels Inviting Steffy To The Wedding Is A Mistake

Ridge wonders if he is a horrible person. Brooke tells him that he is not and she understands he is just disappointed. He tells her the most amazing thing he has ever done was to fall in love with her. Hope arrives home and tells Brooke they need to add two names to the guest list. Hope then tells her who and Brooke exclaims she can not be serious. Hope then tells her mom it is her wedding. Brooke thinks she needs to un-invite Steffy. Brooke says inviting them will be a recipe for disaster.

Steffy Asks Taylor To Be Her +1

Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) arrives at the cliff house. Steffy Forrester Spencer tells her she has a favor to ask and asks her to go to Hope Logan and Liam Spencer’s wedding with her. Taylor doesn’t want Steffy to go and says Hope Logan is nothing but Brooke Logan Forrester’s clone. Taylor wonders how Liam Spencer feels about the matter. Steffy asks for her mom’s support and asks her to promise her that she will not interfere.
