“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Monday, April 23, 2018 reveals that over at the beach house Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) tells Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that she held off on signing the annulment papers as long as she could but ultimately it had to be done.
Steffy Signs The Annulment Papers To Save Her Mom
Steffy flashes back to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) telling her that if she loses his son then he will keep his promise to keep her mother out of prison. Steffy tells Liam that she emailed Bill and made an offer to buy the beach house. Steffy doesn’t want to stay there with the house belonging to Bill.
Steffy Is Glad Liam Didn’t Shoot Bill
Steffy sobs and tells Liam that is their home where they planned on raising their child and being a family. Steffy still hopes those dreams can come true despite everything. Steffy Forrester Spencer tells Liam Spencer that what she did drove him away, but at least it didn’t drive him to do something as horrible as shooting his father something she knew he couldn’t have done.
Steffy Kisses Liam He Rejects Her
Steffy asks Liam one more time as his wife and the mother of his child can they start their lives again. She kisses him. Liam pulls away and flashes to his father proposing to Steffy and says he is sorry but he can’t. He wants their family too but can’t kiss her without picturing her betraying him with his dad. He says it’s never going away. Liam can’t get past it. Steffy says she regrets that night and she is going to keep fighting and hopes he don’t file the papers right away. He leaves. She breaks out in tears.
Hope Tells Hope Steffy is Signing Annulment Papers
Over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tells her mother that Steffy Forrester Spencer could be handing Liam Spencer the signed annulment papers right now. Brooke replies something you clearly think is for the best. Hope says after everything Bill and Steffy put Liam through how could it not be. Brooke tells Hope if their marriage doesn’t last it will not be because she didn’t try to help put it together. Hope says yeah until circumstances made it impossible to do.
Hope Wants To Take Care Of Liam
Brooke questions Hope if there is something she is not telling her. Hope just wants Liam to find closure and move on whether it’s with her or someone else. Hope Logan says that she keeps thinking about Liam Spencer being in the hotel room, Brooke agrees that is no place for him right now. Hope suggest that Liam move in the cabin out back. Hope wants to look after him and make sure he is taking care of himself.
Hope Asks Liam To Move In
The Bold and The Beautiful Brooke thinks it’s a wonderful idea. Hope makes sure it is okay for Liam to come and Brooke tells her to reach out and invite him over. Liam arrives and they ask if Steffy signed the annulment papers he says yes and he doesn’t know what to do with his life right now. They both tell him he needs a change of scenery. Hope asks Liam to move in and he is shocked. Liam agrees to move in and he and Hope shares a kiss.
Hope Has Been MIA from Forrester
In the office at Forrester Creations the two new interns are speaking with Eric Forrester (John McCook). They tell Eric they have worked their butts off. Eric asks them if Hope Logan has seen their work and they reveal to him she hasn’t been around so that’s why they came to him hoping to score some extra brownie points, or not.
Eric Wants To Know When Hope and Steffy Are Back In The Office
They leave and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walks in the office with his father. Eric shows Ridge the work the interns have been doing on the “Hope For The Future” line. He’s impressed. Eric questions Ridge on when Hope Logan and Steffy Forrester Spencer are going to be coming into the office again. Ridge says he don’t know about Hope, but Steffy is still going through a lot. Eric wants to know if things have improved between her and Liam and Ridge replies no.
Ridge Finds Out Taylor Was In Town
Ridge let’s Eric know that Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) was there for Steffy. Eric is shocked that Taylor has been in L.A. Ridge tells Eric that Taylor has left already and he is upset that she didn’t stop and see any of them. They chat for a few and Ridge leaves.
Steffy Tells Ridge She Signed The Annulment Papers
B&B Ridge Forrester goes and pays his daughter Steffy Forrester Spencer a visit. Ridge Asks her if he has worn out his welcome already. She replies, no. Ridge wants to know if she has heard from her mother and she says she only seen her briefly. He reveals that her grandfather is concerned about her and that he wants to know if she is going to show up for work on a regular basis. She tells Ridge that she made an offer on the house, he isn’t happy. She also reveals she signed the annulment papers. Ridge is surprised that she signed the papers and asks her why she done it. She says she feels like she didn’t have a choice and says sometimes you make sacrifices for those you love.
