The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Friday, May 4: Liam Proposes to Hope

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Friday, May 4, 2018 reveals that over at Spencer Publications, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) tells Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) will figure out what he has done. Bill says figure out what.

Wyatt Blames Bill For Destroying Liam’s Marriage

Justin replies that he staged this betrayal and Bill says no you did. Bill tells Justin that is why he is his man because that takes commitment to do and adds he doesn’t wanna see Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) hurt. Justin is not buying it. Bill tells Justin he should be encouraging him not trying to make him feel guilty and says he is better for Steffy than Liam. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) overhears as he is walking in the office. Wyatt tells Bill that Liam was completely commitmented to his marriage until he interfered. Wyatt blames Bill for it ending and is furious with him.

Steffy Tells Ridge Her Marriage Is Over

Over at the cliff house, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is confused to why Steffy Forrester Spencer and Liam Spencer aren’t celebrating. Steffy informs him there is nothing to celebrate. Steffy fills Ridge in on what happened and tells him that and her and Liam’s marriage is over. Ridge thought Liam wanted to make it work and wonders why Liam thinks Steffy is still into Bill. Steffy tells Ridge about the hug she and Bill shared and how Liam took it overboard. Ridge doesn’t blame him and says he will talk to him but Steffy doesn’t think it will help.

Steffy Begs Wyatt To Help Her

Steffy says maybe he will listen to his brother and picks up her phone and calls Wyatt Spencer. She is glad that Wyatt answered and informs him that Liam ended things and wants to know if he can talk to him for her. She tells Wyatt there is nothing going on between her and Bill and begs for him to try to talk to Liam. Wyatt tells her Liam has already made his decision and for her to hang in there and ends the call. Steffy starts crying and tells Ridge Wyatt will not help her and he was so cold.

Liam Proposes to Hope

Over at the cabin, Liam Spencer flashes to what went down between him and Steffy Forrester Spencer and in walks Hope Logan ( Annika Noelle) which startles him. She says she didn’t realize he would be there and says she was just going to drop off something for him and Steffy to show how happy she is for them. Liam says he is not with Steffy and fills Hope in on her still seeing Bill Spencer. Hope wants to know if he is sure. Liam says he can’t live that way anymore and Hope says he deserves better and so does his daughter. Hope says she is sick of the way Steffy treats him and she is sorry he is hurting and insists for him to take his life back. Liam thanks Hope for coming into his life and he don’t know why he ever let her go. Liam says he needs to step away from Steffy and his dad. He tells Hope that she would have never done what Steffy did and he admires her and asks her can they go back to the way things were before. Then Liam proposes and asks Hope if she can be by his side and help raise his daughter. Hope says yes! They kiss.

Wyatt Feels Guilty

Back over at Spencer Publications, Wyatt Spencer wonders why Steffy Forrester Spencer is lying and informs Bill Spencer that in the phone call she said there was nothing going on between the two of them and that she begged him to convince Liam Spencer of that. Wyatt is confused. Bill tells Wyatt he saw it for himself. Wyatt feels guilty for telling Liam and being the one to hurt him. Bill leaves.

Bill Tells Steffy She Should Be With HIm

Over at Steffy Forrester Spencer’s, Bill Spencer walks in. He tells Steffy that Wyatt Spencer told him what was going on and that Liam Spencer ended things and wants to know if it’s true. She informs Bill that Liam still thinks there is something going on between the two of them and wants to know why that is. Bill says maybe because there should be and begs Steffy to make a life with him and quit holding second place to Hope Logan. Bill goes on about Liam wanting Hope and Steffy tells him to stop. Then he tells her that her marriage is over and to be with him. She insists she loves Liam. Bill says Liam can not give her everything she needs.
