The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Friday, June 1: Steffy’s Difficult Labor – Ridge Rushes To Hospital

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Friday, June 1, 2018, reveals that over at the cliff house, Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) is laying on the floor panicking because she just took a hard fall.

Steffy’s Water Breaks

Steffy gets up and immediately calls Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She tells Liam she had an accident and now her water has broken. Liam is going to meet her at the hospital.

Ridge Confronts Liam

Over at the cliff house, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continues to badger Liam Spencer about going back to his daughter. Liam points out there is a consequence to that which is leaving Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) out in the cold. Ridge points out that Liam made all his decisions based on his father’s lies and tells him to stop letting his dad control his every move.

Brooke Tells Hope to Elope

At Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she tells Hope Logan that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will keep on interfering and that they can’t sit back and let that keep happening. Then adds there is only one thing they can do. Brooke wants Hope to elope and as soon as possible.

Brooke tells Hope it’s easier for people to try to drive a wedge in between two people who aren’t married. Hope doesn’t want her wedding day to be about chaos and says she thinks she should wait until after the baby is born. Hope feels she needs to give Liam Spencer time to process what is going on but Brooke continues to push.

Ridge and Brooke Argue Over Daughters

Ridge Forrester walks in and overhears Brooke telling Hope that Steffy Forrester Spencer will use the baby to get Liam. Ridge tells her that is a very interesting point of view and she is right about one thing, the baby will tie them together forever. Ridge and Brooke bicker about their daughters.

Steffy Freaks Out in Labor

Steffy Forrester Spencer arrives at the hospital and is frantic. The doctor comes in and Liam Spencer rushes in after. Steffy starts screaming in pain and the doctor tells her she is having contractions. They are scared because the baby is coming early.

Steffy Tells Liam to Call Her Dad

The doctor then tells Steffy there is no stopping her labor and if her water broke due to an infection that she and baby could contract it. The doctor orders, IV’s, steroids, and an ultrasound to see how much fluid she has lost. Liam holds Steffy’s hand and rubs her belly. He helps her through the contractions. Steffy wants Liam to call her dad.

Ridge Rushes to the Hospital

Back over at Brooke Logan Forrester’s place, Ridge Forrester’s phone rings. He takes a call from Liam Spencer who lets him know the baby is on the way. Ridge panics and says he is on his way. Brooke gives him a pep talk and he heads for the hospital. Hope comes in and Brooke fills her in.

Back over at the hospital, the doctor does an ultrasound and they hear the heartbeat of the baby but it is decelerating. Ridge arrives but chooses to stay out in the hall so Liam Spencer and Steffy Forrester Spencer can have their private time. In the room, Steffy continues in labor.

Liam Supports Steffy Through Birth

The doctor tells them the umbilical cord may be causing the heart rate to drop and that she may need a cesarean. Then the doctor tells Steffy that she is fully dilated and she is going to need her to start pushing. Liam cheers her on. And that’s a wrap.
