The Bold and the Beautiful RECAP Friday, August 31: Absent Father, Will Thinks Bill Doesn’t Like Him

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for Friday, August 31, 2018, reveals that over at Forrester Creations, the models try on designs.

Thorne Tells Ridge He Respects Katie

They flirt with Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) let’s them know his brother is officially off the market. The models leave and Thorne and Ridge talk about his relationship with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Thorne says he likes where it is heading and wants to help Katie do the right thing for Will. Thorne has a lot of respect for Katie for how much time she puts in being a mother.

Bill Threatens Katie

At Katie Logan’s place, she tells Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that she had no other choice but to go for sole custody. She lets him know she is doing what is best for their son, but Bill is furious and doesn’t agree. They bicker. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) speaks up on Katie’s behalf. Bill vows if she goes ahead with taking him to the court that she will regret it for the rest of her life.

Katie thanks Carter for coming and wants to speak to Bill alone. Once alone, Bill tries to reason with her again. She points out how Will thinks Bill doesn’t like him. She tells Bill he will visit there at her house with her present. Bill then tries to get her to tear up the papers. Katie tries to make him understand what he has done to Will and how Will needs him there. Bill tells her if she wants to go to war with him then it will be a war she loses.

Brooke Worries About Hope

In the other office at Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) chats with her mother about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood). Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is surprised that Hope is not worried about Liam running off with Steffy.

Hope points out that he and Steffy are new parents and that’s where Liam should be. She lets her mother know that she trusts her husband, but Brooke worries for her. Brooke wants her to be able to express her feelings. Hope admits it bothers her from time to time. Talk then turns to the baby and how real it feels since having the ultrasound. Brooke wants her to enjoy her pregnancy and marriage.

At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester Spencer and Liam Spencer check on baby Kelly who is sleeping and still has a slight temperature. They both feel bad for their child. Steffy tells Liam that she is glad he is there and then tells him she needs to talk to him about something. She wants him to know exactly how she feels. Steffy tells Liam that she made the choice to put her and the baby first and she still stands by that. Liam is proud of her and thinks it took a lot of courage to make a decision like that.

Steffy Tells Liam She Still Loves Him

She then lets Liam know even though she is standing by her decision that her feelings for him have not gone away. Liam talks to the doctor on the phone who says she thinks Kelly is fine, but keep an eye on her and bring her to be seen in the morning if not better. Steffy says that Kelly is lucky to have such a devoted father. Liam checks on Kelly and her fever has gone away.

Ridge Warns Carter and Throne Bill Will Make Things Ugly

Carter Walton enters the office with Thorne Forrester and Ridge Forrester and announces Katie Logan finally did it. He fills them in and says Bill Spencer did not take the news well. Thorne asks how Katie is doing. Carter lets them know that Katie stood her ground. Thorne is proud of Katie. Ridge points out Bill will make things ugly as possible. Thorne vows to be by Katie.

Hope Has Pains In Her Stomach, Fears A Miscarriage

Hope Logan arrives at the cabin and looks at her ultrasound picture and thinks back to when she told Liam she was pregnant. All of a sudden Hope has a sharp pain in her stomach and starts crying that this can’t be happening.
