The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Friday, August 3: Steffy Tells Liam Hope Is His, Encourages Them To Marry

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (BB) recap for August 3, 2018 reveals that over at Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tells Steffy Forrester Spencer (Jacqueline Wood) how proud he is of her.

Steffy Tells Liam She Didn’t Marry Bill

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) arrives and overhears Ridge talking about Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) giving the shares to Steffy. Liam is shocked and says that is a hell of a wedding gift. Steffy then says it certainly would have been. Steffy reveals to Liam that she did not marry his father. Liam is all smiles. Steffy says the only ring she is wearing is the one Liam gave her. Steffy tells Liam she is ready to move on and start living her life again alone. Liam looks stunned. Steffy thinks they both need to step back. Then she tells him that her needs and desires no longer matter and that Kelly’s does. Steffy tells Liam if he wants to be with Hope then do it. Liam is so confused.

Hope Thinks Liam, Steffy and Her Have To Move Forward

Across the hall, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) chat about Steffy Forrester Spencer’s decision. They are shocked she didn’t marry Bill Spencer. Brooke thinks it would have been easier for Hope if she had. Ridge Forrester enters as Brooke says she wonders how Liam Spencer will react. Ridge reveals that Steffy is telling him now. Hope thinks Liam will be relieved to hear Steffy did not marry Bill and she thinks they all have to find a way to move forward.

Brooke and Ridge Argue

Brooke thinks she should go to them. Ridge points out they are having a private conversation. Brooke wants Hope to go interrupt them and fight for her future. After Hope leaves Ridge and Brooke bicker.

Emma Happy Zoe Is Gone, Xander Worries

Downstairs, Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) tells Xander Avant (Adian Bradley) that they still have comments coming in about Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Thorne is questioning his decision not to hire Zoe and asks Xander if she is really harmless. Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) arrives. Thorne leaves. Emma asks Xander if something is on his mind. He kisses her. Emma points out that his possessive ex-girlfriend is heading back to the other side of the pond. Emma says she should have never mentioned Zoe because Xander gets a foggy look when she does and seems distance. Emma is happy Zoe is gone and Xander looks worried.

Thorne Asks Zoe Not To Leave, Offers Her A Job

There’s a knock at Zoe Buckingham’s door. She answers and it is Thorne Forrester. Zoe is packing to leave and Thorne asks her if there is anyway he can convince her to stay. Thorne tells Zoe people are still talking about her on the runway. She brings up what Ridge Forrester said to her and Thorne says he will handle him. Thorne tells her everyone deserves a second chance and to come to Forrester with him.

Thorne Forrester and Zoe Buckingham arrive at Forrester Creations. Xander Avant is surprised to see her. Thorne offers Zoe a job as a model. Zoe is shocked and thanks Thorne as Emma approaches.

Steffy Says She Won’t Beg A Man That Kisses Another Woman

Back at Forrester, Steffy says they both need to live their best life and maybe his is with Hope as Hope enters. Steffy tells her it’s okay to come in and she is glad to see her. Liam is so shocked by Steffy’s actions. Steffy tells Hope that fighting over a man has only caused them unnecessary pain and she is tired of it. Then adds that she is at a stage in her life where she is too proud to beg for a man who is kissing another woman while she is at home taking care of their daughter.

Steffy Tells Liam Hope Is His

Steffy tells Hope and Liam they will have a great life together. They are both shocked. Steffy wants their kids to feel safe. They both agree with her. She wants their kids to have a better life than she and Hope had with their parents always jumping back and forth. Steffy takes off her ring and places it on Hope’s finger. She tells Hope to be Liam’s bride. She gives Liam a kiss on the cheek and tells him Hope is his. They are all in tears. Steffy asks them if they can all put the conflict behind them. Hope hugs Steffy then hugs Liam.
