The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Heather Tom’s (Katie Logan) presence on the show could be affected by her newest role of CBS Director Initiative program. The program is aimed at helping up and coming directors form network relationships and develop their craft. It is an involved program and it will be time-consuming. So, what does it mean for Katie Logan?
Heather was one of four people selected for the honor. She has directed several soap opera episodes and other short films over the past few years. She had met with the program several years ago. They had told her then that they love daytime directors because they know what hard work is. However, they told her she needed more experience before entering into the program. The Daytime Emmy Award winner had focused on getting the experience, so she could participate in this life-changing program.
Despite the hard work she will need to put into the director’s program, Katie’s screen time will not be affected at all. Heather will continue to play double duty and work the program as well as her role on Bold and the Beautiful.

Tom revealed that there are some exciting things ahead for Katie. She encouraged the B&B fans to keep watching to see how it all plays out with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Bill (Don Diamont), and the judge.
