Ten Takeaways From This Week's General HospitalGeneral Hospital spoilers promise an exciting week ahead for General Hospital viewers. Here are ten takeaways from upcoming episodes from October 1-5, 2018. Of course, GH viewers in the United States must remember that the show’s schedule was again preempted by ABC news coverage so what was supposed to be shown on Thursday, September 27th was at least partially shown on Friday, September 28th, which moves Friday’s original episode to Monday, October 1st.

Takeaway One: Sonny (Maurice Benard) is rattled; this is likely concerning the remains of DA Dawson’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) father and the possibility of his being convicted for the murder.

Takeaway Two: Mike (Max Gail) looks to Carly (Laura Wright) for help. This could be about protecting Sonny, or possibly about the care homes he wants to check out.

Takeaway Three: Oscar (Garren Stitt) will keep Drew (Billy Miller) at arm’s length. Oscar may be putting up emotional walls because of his prognosis.

Takeaway Four: Julian (William DeVry) will give Kim (Tamara Braun) some space. This also is likely referring to Oscar’s cancer diagnosis and his reactions to it, and Kim’s trying to deal with Oscar’s reactions.

Takeaway Five: Laura (Genie Francis) returns home to a Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) who’s not himself. Little does she know how literally Kevin isn’t himself!

Takeaway Six: Cameron (William Lipton) finds himself stuck in the middle of an uncomfortable situation. Cameron’s situation is also likely related to Oscar’s cancer diagnosis and his part in Oscar’s finding out about it.

Takeaway Seven: Maxie (Kirsten Storms) senses there’s something off with Nina (Michelle Stafford). Nina is probably so preoccupied with finding her long-lost daughter that she’s driven to distraction.

Takeaway Eight: Sonny puts Ava (Maura West) in her place. He may be trying to intervene between Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Ava, so their daughter Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Kiki can continue to have a relationship with each other.

Takeaway Nine: Cameron refuses to lie for Oscar. He will probably blurt out the truth about Oscar’s cancer to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in spite of himself, thinking she has the right to know. He means well, but it’s not his place to deliver that news!

Takeway Ten: Kim confronts Oscar. She may be trying to push him into the experimental treatment program, and it may be too much too soon for him.
