NBC’s DOOL was the only soap opera that went down in total viewership. Their total is 2,467,000 which is 29,000 from the week before. This is the only loss for any of the soap opera this week, as they had a small rise of 2,000 in women viewers aged 18-49 as well. Everyone was shocked to see the arrival of Stefan O. DiMera (Tyler Christopher), who crashed Abby (Marci Miller) and Chad’s (Billy Flynn) NYE’s party, learning his parentage was another huge shocker! Ciara (Victoria Konefal) drunkenly crashing the party determines to ruin Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) by revealing his tryst with Sami (Alison Sweeney) was painful to watch. Will (Chandler Massey) ends things with Sonny (Freddie Smith). It was a week full of revealing secrets, will anyone remain unscathed in the new year?

ABC’s GH had an incredible jump in the ratings of 136,000, compared to the previous week, and is not 2,889,000 in total viewership. The ABC soap opera also gained 43,000 viewers in women 18-49. Carly (Laura Wright) is confronted by Jason (Steve Burton, who only wants Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) happiness and tells her to stop pushing them together. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) blabs to Dr. O (Kathleen Gati) that Nathan had another paternity test. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) starts her first day working for Ava (Maura West) who is also dealing with difficulties as she continually witnesses close moments between Griffin (Matt Cohen) and her daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) and presumes the worst about them. Will Ava continue to be her own worst enemy?
CBS’ B&B is the soap opera that made the highest leap this week in total viewership; gaining 172,000 from the previous week and totaling at 3,943,000 viewers. It is a similar situation when the CBS daytime dram gained 54,000 viewers in women viewers aged 18-49. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confesses to Maya (Karla Mosley) that he still loves her. Liam (Scott Clifton) finds the paternity test results and learns of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) betrayal with his own father, Bill (Don Diamont). After he angrily confronts and attacks Bill, Liam walks out on Steffy as she reveals her situation to a nosy Katie (Heather Tom).

CBS’ Y&R is one again at a new high for the executive producer/writer Mal Young tenure. The CBS daytime drama remains at the top of the total viewer’s list with 4,823,000 in total viewership, up 23,000 from the previous week. In women viewers 18-49 years of age, Y&R also rose 16,000 and continues to be on the top of the list with a total of 524,000 viewers. JT (Thad Luckinbull) talks about his worries over Bill’s (Jason Thompson) influence over Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) agree to put aside their business battle until they have resolved their crisis with Dina (Marla Adams). Sharon learns about Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) and she doesn’t take the news lightly.
