Kin Shriner OUT at General Hospital – Scott Baldwin Has Left The Building

General Hospital comings and goings indicate that a fan favorite will soon be leaving Port Charles. Actor Kin Shriner himself has confirmed on his Twitter account that his character has been cut from the long-running daytime television soap. Kin has been on the show since the late 1970’s.

The announcement comes as a shock for many of Kin Shriner’s fans. After all, the actor was just live-tweeting his thoughts and comments during the General Hospital 55th anniversary episode on Friday. Several hours later, Kin took to his Twitter account to inform his fans that he is not coming back.

He started off by simply writing, “Scott Baldwin out.” When his fans pressed him for more details, he wrote, “True Scott Baldwin has left the building. I had a good run on General Hospital. I wish them about 55.”

General Hospital producers are yet to make any comments about Kin’s departure. Although, it’s safe to say that fans are devastated by the news. A lot of his fans have left comments on his Twitter page that have included, “What do you mean? Just out as you were live tweeting earlier. Not off the show! No way! I don’t believe it,” along with, “It’s either that or an April Fool’s Day joke. I don’t believe he’s off the show. He’s recurring. Plus it’s too disrespectful after today. No way.”

Another distraught fan wrote, “So sad. Hasn’t this been your second home since 1977? What will we do without Scotty’s dry humor?!”
