Is Tristan Lake Leabu Leaving The Young and the Restless?

Say it isn’t so! New reports indicate that one very popular actor on The Young and the Restless is saying goodbye to his fans. As a matter of fact, actor Tristan Lake Leabu is rumored to be getting ready to make his exit from the highly-rated CBS soap.

He played Reed Hellstrom for the past year. Tristan gave several riveting performances as the troubled Reed, who was not only battling with his own issues, but with his problems with his parents, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and JT (Thad Luckinbill).

 So far Tristan himself has not made any comments about the exit rumors, but sources say that he’s moving on to other projects that he has in the pipeline.

For a lot of The Young and the Restless fans, this is bad news. Tristan was just nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his role for the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama series. He is up against four other young actors who are vying for the award: Rome Flynn (Zende) from The Bold and the Beautiful, Casey Moss (JJ) and Lucas Adams (Tripp) from Days of Our Lives, and Hudson West (Jake) from General Hospital.
